Very bad experience overall. We came up to the window at 8:55, and they claimed to be closed, even though it wasn't 9 yet, and they refused to take our order. We asked if we could still place an order because my son was hungry, and then they took our order very reluctantly. We had ordered a sandwich with all the condiments on the side, and they were inside even though the receipt said otherwise. We also ordered french fries without salt, and they had given us salt, even though we ordered them without it, like the receipt said. Although they had a sign for customers to wear masks, no one inside the to-go window was wearing one. When the employee handed me the order, she was asking me if I needed any ketchup, and after that if I needed anything else, I asked for some napkins, and then she mentioned that here are some after giving them to me. To make a long story short, she exchanged quite a few sentences with me, and she could be infecting me and my family without wearing a mask. We ate the food and it was extremely salty, and sent us all to the bathroom multiple times. Think twice before you come to this place. They operate on a...
Read moreWas in the area after visiting the dentist and decided to try it out. Figured I wouldn’t be dining in and went to drive through, and considering it’s sit down style food to go, I was fully prepared to wait a bit longer and wasn’t in a rush. Only one person in front of me (off-traffic hour) and waited maybe 10-20 minutes.
Got the chorizo and ham breakfast burritos, they were toasty and the tortilla on the chorizo one was nicely flaky. I really liked how they weren’t overly salty (you can always add more but people who want lower sodium have a tougher time), great flavor and very nicely sized. The chorizo had a really good smoky flavor and preferred it over the ham one myself. The ratio of eggs to hashbrowns to meat to tomatoes was nicely balanced.
I usually don’t rate on cost however they were running some sort of promotion and $13 burritos for $11 considering current restaurant prices was very good value.
They asked if I wanted condiments and I said I’d take some taco sauce. Personally haven’t tried the Heinz brand, and unless you’re a fan, I suggest putting your own hot sauce since it lowered the quality of the...
Read moreOur group stopped by for a bite after a hike. This place has an old diner feel and luckily we snagged the big booth in the back.
I ordered the combo omelette, which came with hash browns and an English muffin. Honestly, breakfast is one of my favorites and this place serves breakfast all day.
The omelette wasn’t as fluffy although it had a lot of meat. It didn’t look like the traditional omelette. It was also topped with melted cheese that looked unappealing. Reminded me of Kraft cheese slices, which I am not a big fan of. Taste wise for omelette, it was okay. Someone else in our group who also got an omelette said the same thing. Hash browns could have been crispier. Good portion size though.
A couple people in our group ordered the gyro. Pretty big in size. One of them substituted the fries for fried zucchini. I think that’s the way to go.
They did have a server come multiple times to refill coffee but not water. My friend asked one server for a to go container but she must have forgotten about it. So, someone from our group went up...
