Having eaten at this particular King’s many times, figured it was about time to contribute a review. Overall, excellent service, atmosphere and quality food! However, that being said, I’ve had a few experiences recently that left a less than favorable taste in my mouth.

First the good - clam chowder - SO good! And the homemade bread - excellent! CA Roll sushi, very freshly made, but disappointed that only sesame seeds around the outside are offered (pass) and not roe eggs, as most high-quality sushi offerings include. Changes the entire flavor profile. Bonus - they do offer low-sodium soy sauce.

Generally, most dinners I’ve ordered have been very good, if not excellent. However, I’ve recently ordered the usually amazing Chilean Sea Bass twice, and each time, the fish was not fully cooked (as in slightly cold, besides still being translucent inside).

Additionally, the first time recently that I ordered the same, I advised our server (not one of our usual servers that date) that we were extremely tired, and wanted to try to keep dinner moving along, rather than turning it into a 2 hour affair (we usually like to take our time). So when my food came undercooked, and I had no choice but to send it back, she said it would be just a few minutes. However, a “few minutes” turned into 15, and then into 20, and when we asked, she just kept saying, “It’s coming” (ok, we get that, but WHEN?!). She said the mgr would come over, but never did.

They finally got it right, but only after 25 minutes, which caused our dinner to be nearly 2 hours. I asked if I should’ve ordered something else, because I’d politely advised upon arrival that we were on limited time. She said the entire dish had to be baked again, which I can appreciate, but given our timeline, the correct response would have been to advise us of the extended delay and offer the option to substitute something that would’ve been much quicker (I had only asked to have the food cooked a bit more, but she should’ve advised if that was not possible).

Fast fwd a few days later, ordered the grilled shrimp/scallop skewers, same issue - scallops were undercooked and cold inside, and side dishes (which probably were plated and waited too long for the main) were barely lukewarm. Again, it was re-made (and the first time I had mentioned, they were kind enough to comp my main), but why aren’t they properly cooking the seafood? Amazing when they get it right (I recently ordered the shrimp/scallop skewers once more, and specifically asked them to slightly overcook my scallops and serve everything piping hot, and it was great!).

Overall, a fantastic restaurant, with quality food, but they maybe need to educate chefs a bit more about proper cooking temps and plating to enhance the...

I've dined here many times over the years and have enjoyed my experience every time: kind and attentive staff, consistent and delicious food, and a chill atmosphere. My family and I usually come here to celebrate something, but it's a pleasure to dine here anytime. The menu has many options, along with seasonal specials.

My favorites are the Fish from the Grill menu, lobster roll, oysters, appetizers, and house drinks. I enjoy sauteed spinach, garlic mashed potatoes, grilled asparagus, and corn as side dishes with my Fish from the Grill entrées. Any fish on the menu can be grilled or blackened to one's liking.

For drinks, I've enjoyed some of the house specials, draft beers, various spirits and wines, and mocktails. I've recently ordered the Moscow Mule, Old Fashioneds, Dark and Stormy, and cold beers. The mocktails are also winners, with fresh ingredients like those in Berry Smash and The Spa. They're all refreshing winners.

My family highly recommended the key lime pie and the butter cake for dessert. Both were amazing. The key lime pie was sweet with a nice tangy bite, and the butter cake was flavorful and spongy.

Even the little ones in our group were delighted with their choice from the cool kids' menu. They offered tasty options like chicken tenders, fried shrimp, fish 'n' chips, and more, including many activities, crayons, and temporary tattoos, ensuring a fun and enjoyable dining experience for the whole family.

One of the great things about this restaurant is its ample indoor and patio dining space, which can easily accommodate parties of all sizes, making it a perfect choice for any occasion. The decor is also a pleasant sight for a rustic yet modern experience. There is also a fully-stocked bar in the middle of the dining space with some TVs to watch sports.

Overall, a top-notch restaurant. I plan to enjoy many...

I was very excited to try this restaurant and it was gravely letdown. My family members had come here before and were raving about the quality of the food and the service. We had called an hour prior in order to ensure that they could accommodate a group of seven an hour before closing. We were told that they absolutely could. When we arrived we felt like from the get-go everything was rushed. We were seated and instantly our waitress Came to take our drink and food orders. When we asked for more time after ordering our drinks and appetizers she seemed annoyed and walked away. She returned to take our orders and give us all the wrong drinks and, after taking our orders, asked if she wanted us to put these in because they close in 35 minutes. We were confused and said yes that we would like our orders placed? In the meantime we had asked her for napkins, refills salt and pepper etc. and none of the above ever came to our table. I had snuck away from the table to tell her that it was my sister‘s birthday, she asked me to pick what dessert she would like and I did. She bought out the desert with her entrée in a rushed effort to get us out sooner. Part of our order was given to us in to-go boxes. It was absolutely ridiculous. Had they told us when we called an hour prior to arriving that they would not be able to accommodate us because it was too close to closing time for their kitchen we would not have come. The manager was very understanding, she heard out our concerns and waived our bill. It was a very nice gesture although it was necessary given the quality of the service. Most of the food was also very mediocre. The lobster roll looked so amazing when they bought it out but tasted so glad. Our family members that had been here before said that it tasted better the other times they came compared to...

We stopped here for dinner before the Angel game and were happy to be seated quickly by friendly and engaging staff. The ambiance is upscale, but not stuffy, and low lighting provides an intimate feeling. The crowd was mainly 25+, and tilting towards the older demographic, so it's not exactly a place for kids. The selections of seafood was top notch: extensive oyster list, lobster, shrimp, and various international/domestic fish. I started with the basic 3 piece fish and chips, and the Mrs. got Mahi Mahi with potato and mac and cheese for sides. The Mahi was excellent, hot and flaky, cooked with cajun spices, and the side dishes were their own stars. The garlic potatoes were soft and smooth, with a light garlic flavor, not too strong, and the mac wasn't overly cheesy, more like a well cooked pasta and not the typical melty cheese variety. The cheese crumbles on top added an excellent crunch. The fish and chips were not as strong. There is a 2 or 3 piece option, and having ordered 3 pieces, felt disappointed when it turned out to be more like 2 1/2. The Cod pieces came out hot and cooked fine, but the taste left something to be desired. The breading was light, producing a soft crunch when eaten. The accompanying garlic fries were ok, nothing life changing or new. At 27$ for 2 1/2 cod pieces and garlic fries, there are better options to be had off the menu and wouldnt recommend the fish and chips. Look to spend in excess of 60$ for two people for basic seafood items, but pricier as the food gets fancier. All in all, this is a great place for people who have money to spend on good seafood but not the time to drive to the ocean to get it.
