Los Cabos Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Orange

I have eaten here a total of 3 times and never will again. First time was over a year ago while visiting a friend. Service was ok, food was ok. Second time was recently after I moved to the area. The server was an older female. Service was very slow even though there were only 2 other tables seated. Third time I took my mother while she was visiting. It was the same older female server and there were 3 tables seated. She gave us chips & salsa and then the next time she approached the table I asked for a separate salsa bowl. The server looked judgingly at the table and then asked "why" with a face and tone of attitude; all while looking at the salsa already on the table that my mother was eating. I replied that I had been sick and was recovering and that I didn't want to get my mother sick. The look on her face was one of irritation that I was asking for a second dish of salsa. About 10 minutes later she finally brings the salsa. Just before the meal arrives my mother asked for more salsa. The server didn't bring it until my mother was 1/2 done with her plate of food. When she approached the table she then asks "do you still want this"? again with a tone of attitude. In all my years of going to Mexican restaurants I have never had anyone give attitude and irritation that I was asking for more salsa or two bowls to be on the table. Slow service due to being busy I can deal with, but the attitude when a paying customer is asking for something you give for free is something I cannot. I will never patronize this...

This was the first time here. I was excited to try a new restaurant for a nice lunch. My wife wanted to try this place out. We're were there 32 minutes and still had not placed our order. It took approximately 12 minutes to be seated. We were the only ones in line! Party of 3. As we waited I observed several tables who had not received any food yet. I thought this may be a problem. We were seated 5 minutes we were served great chips and two salsas. Placed our drink orders. We were never served any drinks! I asked a server where are the drinks? He had no idea. Then another server came over and asked for our drink orders again. We had finished the chips and no drinks not even water! Rather than spend our day at this place waiting, we decided to go elsewhere. 32 minutes we will never get back. Too bad. I will never know how the food is. Service businesses need to provide service.
