You know, I'm beginning to not like McDonalds more and more these days. Have not had very good experiences w them lately. 1st off. I was at the hospital ALL day. I had 2 appts. & some testing I needed to have done. I am not saying this for anything other than to explain my physical shape. I am handicapped and walk w a cane, but have severe back issues that render me unable to stand upright. I'm not that old but I m extremely exhausted by the end of the day if I have to get around by myself. So, after everything was finished I found a nearby McDonalds, ordered online, picked it up, parked in their designated parking lot, ate, and unfortunately, fell asleep. I was tired. I was awoken by the tapping of the glass by some teenager manager who stated that if I do not move off the premises w/in 15 minutes, he will call the police and have me towed for loitering on the property. I have never been to this or any other McDonald's in months. I fell asleep because I ate and was exhausted. I ecplained to him what happened, showed him my handicapped plaquard that was clearly hanging, explained to him, apologized to him profusely, and he then gave me 10 minutes to leave or he would call for a tow truck and the police. He wasn't anymore than 18 I don't think. I did not intend to fall asleep. I was not loitering, littering, making noise, or causing any problems. I think he was throwing his newfound managerial weight around to look good. To please someone. I am old enough to be his grandmother for sure. I've worked w the oublic. Read moreI placed an order through the app to reward my special needs kids for getting through their first day back to school. For some reason even though the order was sent to the right store,the payment was sent to a location in Pasadena, a city I've never even visited. The store manager was extremely rude, and even after showing her the notification telling me to pick it up at this location, that my card had been charged for the order, and pointing out that I have no control over what store the app sends my payment to since that's a back end function, and asking for an explanation on how then they had my order on their screen if I hadn't ordered it to that store, I was treated like I was trying to steal from them. She wouldn't even entertain the idea that there was an error on their end and just kept repeating "no" to everything I said.
I then called and spoke to the district manager because, again, I had paid and couldn't help where the app sent the payment. After having to wait around for 20 minutes for him to check on something, he called me back and went on and on about how much of a favor he was doing me by having the store honor my order. Even though he said he would have them remake my food since it had been sitting for half an hour by this point, it was very obvious when we got home that they had given me the food they left sitting.

Read moreIt's as it's been lately under staffed and overwork I being sixty four years old have been to so many McDonald's not only here in Orange County but in Florida Tampa Bay and St Petersburg and Clearwater but in Pennsylvania Pittsburgh Erie and even to the one in London England as I made it a point to get off the underground metro just for it on the way to The Home Office. I say this because of the trust I have in the quality of McDonald's food and the friendliness and professionalism of a well trained crew except I hate to say in this location I am forced to give a less than ideal score and I put it to the test and eventually saw that the supposed Manager was the blocking stone I tried to get her to talk toe but she walked away refused to give me her business card and I can't go on writing a book here but her treatment is beyond rude and being perhaps under stress is no excuse for her un friendliness and indifferent rude behavior now I'm known as Darvish mainly because of the truth in my reviews and I depend on my reputation on this particular issue of this franchise I'm making a point of never returning here for personal dining unless I'm sent or a along with company's employees on an event it's really sad to see the one who's suppose to promote the customer relationships is the one ruining it all as the other staff are hardworking friendly bunch that I'll miss...
