Tacos Jalisco — Restaurant in Orange

Horrible experience, completely incompetent and not even apologetic about it. We ordered ahead on doordash, we ordered at noon to pickup at 4:45. I walked in at 4:45 and asked about the order, the woman behind the counter shooed me away and said 10 more minutes. I went back in 10 minutes later and a different woman said it was almost ready when I asked about it. 15 more minutes passed and they finally brought out a big order that was not my order. I said it wasn't my order and repeated the name of my order and that I ordered through doordash. They looked confused and finally, 30 minutes after I had been trying to pick up my order the manager walked over but it was not to help me. It was to shoo me away from the counter.

I asked him where my order was, now 30 minutes past pickup time. I told him my order information. He asked the woman in Spanish who told him the order was on the tablet but they hadn't started it, he asked her what was in the order and she told him. He then turned to me and I told him they hadn't even started it and why did no one make our order? He blamed it on the day shift and said he wasn't here when the order came in and did I want them to make our order? He didn't even really apologize and just stood there blank faced and apathetic. I told him to just cancel the order because I had 4 hungry kids and my wife waiting in the car and didn't have time to wait on them to START making our order at this point. This was a $90 order by the way. I work in restaurants and am pretty forgiving on other restaurants right now during this pandemic but if you operate this way then you deserve to be one of the businesses that close for good due to this. I got a torta de milanesa. The torta is supposed to come with lettuce tomato beans , and so on. Carrots is not the one thing any torta has had or ever should have. Mine came with shredded carrots. Upon close inspection, I realized why. Instead of using just lettuce, they used a salad mix that comes with multiple types of lettuces and carrots. This place has really lost its appeal, and their food has lost its quality. On top of that, the milanese in the torta was absolutely soaked in oil. It wasn't fried in oil it was fried on the griddle. So since the temp isn't high enough on a griddle, it just absorbed the oil. This also explains why when I ordered an omelet last time, it was almost fried and greasy. Service has really gone downhill. My family and I have been coming here since I was a kid. Went in and they completely ignored us. We asked if they could take our order and they said she could not she had to ask the other waitress . Other waitress comes and only takes the order of the table behind us. We were here first. I guess if you are not a group of single men they will completely ignore you. Also their ac was not working. So we were sweating in this heatwave. I am so sad this restaurant’s service has gotten to this point. If you want tk be ignored and treated like you dont exist then by all means come down here to eat.

Update: Manager was extremely rude. Basically said to deal with it if not to go somewhere else. You have lost a family that has been coming here...
