I want to hear a few weeks ago and I feel like the food was pretty good but definitely not amazing. I would give it a solid 7 out of 10. The food here definitely was not my complaint though. My complaint was actually the service. I went here on a weeknight where it was not super busy yet the server barely came around. There was two adults and two children sitting at my table. I ordered two kids meals and two regular bowls of ramen. By the time the food came out both kids meals came out and then one of the bowl of ramen. The server never seemed to question the fact that she only brought out three dishes for a table of four people. I sat and waited for quite some time thinking maybe my ball was just a little slower and after everyone at my table was nearly halfway done with their food I had to wave down the server and ask about my dish. Instead of just admitting that they completely forgot my order they brushed me off and said oh it would be coming right out. I had to watch every table around me get their bowls of ramen after that before I even got mine. By the time I was done eating my family had been sitting and waiting for me and when the bill came they actually charged me for 5 dishes instead of the four. They ended up double-charging me for my specific bowl of ramen as if I ordered it twice. I was very annoyed at this point and asked for my refund on the extra ball that I was charged for. Unfortunately for me there was no manager that night and so they could not refund my card that they had already charged at that point. So they ended up just giving me cash for the one bowl that they overcharged me for. Honestly that was my mistake for not looking at the bill first. We had been sitting there for so long already and had to ask for the check that when the server came without even looking at the bill I just handed her my card. Now I know better for the next time I go here that I have to double-check and possibly have them repeat my order. As I stated before it was not the food that was a problem here it was more of the service. I am definitely willing to give them a try again and hopefully we'll be able to update...

I wouldn't call them perfect, but they're so friendly you can't be mad at them. Every single employee had a smile on their face and that contagious attitude really kept my mood throughout my dinner.
Things I liked: The ramen is good. I ordered the tonkatsu black with a side of egg for $1.50. The broth was very hot and the entire bowl was delicious. The servers are attentive but not over-the-top. They came to refill drinks, ask if we needed anything else, etc etc. The California roll is a very generous serving!! The 8 rolls were very thick and had far more crab meat than rice. I love that! You get to choose between a small and large rice bowl or curry. The server recommended getting the large bowl because the small was not very filling, but I suggest only ordering the large bowl if it's the only thing you plan on eating. Otherwise, opt for the small.
Things I didn't like: The gyoza was sub-par. At the entrance of the restaurant, you'll actually get the chance to watch a video on how they prepare their gyoza, but I found that the pieces were not fried long enough. They were seared, but a little too soft for my liking. Taste-wise, they were fine, but I would pass on this for my next visit. The lighting in the restaurant is too bright! I know that's a bit too picky, but it kills the ambiance for me.
-- Overall, I did like my experience at Yoshiharu! Though it's certainly not an LA ramen shop, it certainly is a good contender for those in...
Read moreOrdered a bowl of ramen and a bento box. There were 4 occupied tables in the whole place. Two wait staff members and two guys in the open kitchen.
My ramen arrived quickly but my wife didn’t get her food. While we waited for the bento, the server dropped off the check for the table next to us on our table without even looking at us. I had to call her over to communicate that this wasn’t our check. I asked if the bento order was put in since my wife still did not have her food.
By now, I am halfway done with my ramen. Server says, sorry, the bento takes longer. I say, when two people come together they expect to get their food at the same time. Server’s answer: I am sorry I am just the server. I told her she should let management know the kitchen staff can’t be bothered to time tickets. Instead of accepting the feedback, she insincerely apologized by repeatedly stating she is just a server and could not wait to get away from us.
When the server dropped the check back after running my card, she made a point to shove it on the table corner by my wife, out of my reach despite grabbing it from me earlier.
The food is OK, it’s not the best ramen but it’s not the worst. The service, however, at least on Sundays has been abysmal and filled with attitude and basic lack of care on the two occasions we visited. There will be no third time.
The server name on the ticket was Lyanna but it’s not clear if it was the one who took our order or the sourpuss who gave...
