I went to get my wife's wedding band and engagement ring soldered together and my ring resized. My ring was resized fine but the soldering on my wife's rings was really bad. The band was custom made to fit her engagement ring and it was very off center, the back of the ring had pits in it and wasn’t smooth. 5-10 minutes after pick up a stone fell out. We went back and she immediately said she’d fix it and my wife asked for the soldering job to be fixed as well and we found out she sends it out to someone else to get worked on. It took longer to get the rings back so she refunded us completely, however, the soldering “fix” came back still a little off center and the back was worse.
