We were here Sat 9-13-24 at around 830pm This was so bad, I thought it was a joke. As we walked in everything seemed normal, my wife noticed right away that all tables had paper cups on the tables. After a min or 2 we were "greeted" by the hostess. Not a how are you or anything welcoming, just how many. We said 4 and she grabbed menus and walked off...said nothing! After she went to the table and stopped, we followed. She left. The table behind us was in a very heated argument with the waitress and the manager, to the point we thought they were gonna fight. Our waitress came by and told us to look at the menu, and she'd be right back. As we started to give her our order, she kept interrupting and saying that they were out of what we were ordering. They were out of kids pizzas.They had the yogurt, but not the strawberries, they didn't have the 8oz sirloins for the bourbon street steak. As we were ordering everything, I asked the waitress if she wanted to write everything down and she said, nope, she memorized it... When I asked her to repeat our order, she missed three things so I corrected her. My oldest daughter asked to have a strawberry smoothie, and we were told that they have them, but she couldn't have one, because the bartender refuses to work the blender!..She doesn't like using and cleaning it, so they tell people that they can't order blended drinks. My wife and I then put our drink orders in and the waitress left. She then came back 5 minutes later to ask how I wanted my steak done, for the third time. At this moment, we still haven't been served waters and still have no silverware or napkins at our table. The waitress returned another 3/4 minutes and said that they didn't carry the beer that my wife had ordered. It was the first beer on the menu, she said oh, we must be out of that. My wife changed her beer. After a few minutes, we canceled everything and left. After all the corrections, we didn't have confidence that our meal would be correct. Read moreVisiting this Applebees was a disgusting, underwhelming and disappointing experience. Upon walking in we were seated at a booth that had not been properly cleaned - that should have been my first sign to leave. We ordered draft beers and were told about five minutes later that the taps were not working. Ordered a different beer in a bottle, out of stock. Settled on Coronas in the bottle at an ungodly price gouged amount. Fried cheese app arrived- that was the only shining star to this trip. Roughly 20 minutes after we finished our app, the server finally arrived to take our order. When our meals were eventually delivered… well that was sad. Having worked in many restaurants, it is easy to tell when a plate has been in the window for an extended period of time. The plate is boiling hot, the fries were limp, greasy and at a tepid temperature, cheese was inedible and glued to the plate and the sauce had congealed on the top. I ate two fries and waited for my server to return. I should state, we gave up on waiting for sodas to be delivered that were ordered with our meals. The server only returned to our table to drop off the check without even asking about our meal. Upon walking away she realised that I had barely touched the food and asked from another table if I didn’t like my food. I told her it was disgusting. She stared at me as if I grew a leg from my face and asked “WHAT?” very loudly. So I replied slightly louder than intended that it was awful. This got her attention. She took the plate away and said she would get a manger to remove it from our tab. While yet again waiting for the slowest server imaginable to do her job, my partner left to use the restroom while I waited for the check. That was just the icing on the cake. The bathroom was vile, as if they had not been cleaned, ever. You know things are bad when a guy is upset about the cleanliness of a bathroom. I will never visit this restaurant again. Read moreWent last night with my husband and mother in law they wasn’t busy as I have noticed for awhile now buisness has declined there and it’s probably due to the service! I was seated by the host in great timing We waited 20mins for our server to come and nothing so the manager Brianna pops her head out from the back and tells the host to get us while she just stands there! Mind you now I am watching her the entire time from that moment due to how long we had to wait and didn’t even get one of the servers ! Manager never once came over until I asked the hostess what was the managers name. She came over walked past saying everything okay as to which I responded ehh for the most part I guess and she walked off! It wasn’t busy in the dining room or bar but obviously the servers on the clock was struggling a bit and the manager did not care she sat on her butt the whole night didn’t help buss a table,grab a drink,seat,greet nothing to make anything easier on the team ! THERE WAS TABLES LEAVING, a group of five also that came in 10mins after us left due to NO service ,and when I order it’s sad I have to ask for Fresh fries any time we have visited due to they are never served fresh to begin with ! It’s Absolutely horrible of management to not help their staff and even one of the servers knew exactly what I was meaning when i said something about their manager Brianna being pathetic and slack and not doing her part . There is not one excuse that justifies her actions, if you’re on the clock you’re on the clock!! Also I have been working in restaurants for almost 11yrs if I pay you $80 cash on a $57 ticket obviously I wanted change to tip, i was not for tipping at all with the service we had but as I know how it is I decided I would due to the host didn’t have to take us needless to say I don’t know if she even was able to keep the tip.
