Cook Out — Restaurant in Orangeburg

I did have this place at a 5-star review! But after my experience today, I have changed this review to a one-star review and if I could give a negative review I would. I went to the window today to place my order, placed my order, gave the young cashier a $10 bill the total was $7.61. She handed me $2 in change close the window and locked it. When she came back I said this is not the correct change. She then proceeded to tell me that we don't have any loose change and that is my change without the correct coins. I then asked her well can I have my $10 bill back and I will pay with my card. She said she would have to talk to the manager. She then proceeded to walk to the other register that is less than maybe three feet apart got me the $0.39 in change that was owed to me and handed it to me. I want to also point out that there is nothing anywhere on the door window saying that we don't have change currently so please pay with exact change or plastic. A week ago there was signs that said this so I figured they had gotten Changed by now oh, was I wrong!! I don't know about you but when I work for my money and then I proceeded to use money that I have spent time to earn I don't care if it's one penny or $1,000 I want my correct change back!-----they took my call and the district manager did nothing...

I was rushed through the drive thru after waiting in a long line. Employee was very impatient and rude and kept interrupting me while I was ordering. Didn't receive half of my food. I ordered 4 dinners for 4 people and only received 2 orders for 2 people. Drove home 25 mins away. Had to drive all the way back. Stood in line outside for almost 20 more mins to get the food that I was missing. Was not offered any extra food or gift card or refund or discount for gas and time wasted having to come back. No apologies or customer service or professionalism in any way. During this time I was also approached by a homeless person asking for money and witnessed drug transactions and the theft of someone's bike for a drug trade in the parking lot 30 feet away during that short time. (On a Thursday night at 10 pm). A piece of my plastic fork broke off in my mouth while eating and I had to find my own napkins because they only gave me 2 napkins for 4 orders. I can see why they have a now hiring sign posted. If you are thinking of eating here, do yourself a favor and drive...

This place is a total joke! Went there and the lady that was taking our order basically rushed me! I couldn't even get the order out of my mouth before she would hollar through the microphone "IS THAT IT"? then after being rushed so much, I realized I was so frustrated and couldn't even tell her I needed a plain burger. Nothing but bread and meat! I get to the window and I ask if she could ass it on and she said " the manager said no" . I couldn't get ketchup, mayo, nothing! Then after having to go all the way back to the end of the line to order just a burger ( plain ) as we was starting to take our food out and taste it, the fries was cold, my chicken sandwich that I only wanted mayo and lettus didn't even have mayo on it. My daughter only got 2 cheese bites in her tray and 3 onion rings. My tea didn't have hardly no ice. Then when I asked for some more mayo, the manager said no! Then as I went to the window the 2nd time, the manager assisted me with no help! Smh. Customer service was pathetic! No wonder no one wants...
