Scooter's Coffee — Restaurant in Orangeburg

I had originally given a 5 star review. As of today 12/07/24, Scooter's Gets a 1 star. If I could give no stars I would. I have been coming to Scooter's in Orangeburg since they opened. I have been coming 2 to 3 times a week and every Saturday for well over a year. So every Saturday myself my husband and my two chihuahuas load up in the truck and go down to scooters to get our ritual coffee beverages and pup cups. So today I order our usual and two pup cups and was told by the associate that they had no pup cups (small cups with whipped cream). This is a big deal to me as my Chihuahuas look forward to getting their pup cup every Saturday. I asked the associate could she just use two small hot coffee cups and put whipped cream in them and I will pay for the cups. The associate told me no she could not do that because she was not allowed. That is the stupidest thing I've ever heard. Like I said it's whipped cream in a cup. If we had not ordered our beverages on the app I would have left and not gotten anything. I worked in the service industry for well over 20 years and I know that a happy customer tells a friend and an unhappy customer tells the world. I will no longer give Scooters my business. I will be sure to tell everyone about the poor customer experience I received. I am going back to Starbucks where I have never been told I could not...

So pumped up to have something new in our city as a coffee smoothie and drink lover ❤️ I rated it a three that is merrily based on the customer service and speed and cute location, not on the product at all I went three times and all three times very disappointing, I tried the Iced Chai tea with the waffle sandwich with my grandson!! Sandwich was dry and the chai tea was way to strong and a such a weird taste!! They second time I had a peach smoothie after less then 5 minutes it started to look weird and separate looked like spoiled milk, I couldn’t drink it. It was mentioned through a friend they remade it for me yesterday said it was made wrong, it tasted the same and did the same thing curled milk😢😢I love the cute place and the entire red vibe and scooting theme. But I’m disappointed to say the least but wanted to give a honest review!! 🙏🏼🙏🏼 hopefully it will get better, I’ll stick with my office coffee 😆😆...

I think I’ve just found my favorite coffee shop in Orangeburg.

Today (Aug 14, 2025), I stopped by Scooter’s Coffee on North Road to grab a cup of coffee. When one of the staff asked how my day was, I decided to be honest and told her I’d been feeling down. She smiled, reassured me that things will only get better, and even gave me a sticker to cheer me up.

That simple act of kindness meant so much—it almost brought me to tears. I sat in the parking lot afterward, reading their core values: integrity, love, humility, and courage. You can tell they’re not just words on a wall—they live it out in the way they treat customers.

Great coffee, warm atmosphere, and a team that cares from the heart. Thank you for making my day...
