This is my first review of a restaurant, never felt it necessary before, but people need to be aware or this restaurant. Visiting from Central California, where we know good Mexican food. This is not the place you want to eat dinner at unless you want disappointment for dinner. Would have given ZERO stars but lowest is 1, so 1 it is. Salsa tasted like storebought Pace Picante Salsa, Asked for a different kind and they brought pico which was good. We had a waitress who was SOOOO nice, it was her first day and she did amazing and was so kind, but the restraunt and other employees were terrible. Attitude, no smiles, rude and negative, restaurants should be enjoyable and pleasant, this was anything but. My mom wanted a combo meal with an asada taco and a cheese enchilada with green sauce, they told her she couldn't have asada, that she could only pick from chicken, shredded beef, or ground beef, and they wanted to charge $0.75 per item to change the red sauce to green sauce. SAUCE IS SAUCE, why the up charge I have no idea. Anyways they told her she couldn't change her meat to asada, (even acter we asked if we could just pay the difference) so she no longer wanted the meal. She decided to order the items al acarte so that she could have an asada taco, then they told her she couldn't have just one taco, that the al acarte comes with two. She didn't want two. So she decided not to order anything. THIS WAS ANYTHING BUT PLEASANT. SIMPLE REQUESTS COULD NOT BE ACCOMMODATED FOR. They weigh out their meat for their items, (very cheap in my opinion) and the portions were small. My dad ordered the 2 burrito combo, 1 asada, 1 chicken, of course they couldn't give him asada though so he changed it to shredded beef. When they brought the item, they brought enchiladas covered in red sauce. And BOTH were beef!!! They claimed that they were burritos, but last time I checked, you picked up a burrito, these were smothered in sauce, clearly an enchilada. She also said enchiladas had less meat, these were already small and had very little meat!! Can't imagine anything with less meat, there would literally be no meat😂 I was in shock. Wanted to leave honestly, but dad said let's just stay because there wasn't much else restaurants open at this time and we had already ordered our drinks. I ordered the chili verde. Meat was very tender, I'll give them that, but the sauce was terrible, was super watery not much flavor and watered down. Beans and rice had absolutely no flavor. Asked how long they had been in business, they said 10 months, honestly idk how they've stayed open that long. They have WAY TO MANY DAMN RULES FOR THEIR MENU. For all the people giving them a good rating, y'all clearly have never tasted good Mexican food, do yourself a favor and please go to central or southern California to experience real authentic EXCELLENT Mexican food. Because this place is anything but😂 save yourself your time, and your money, and DON'T GO TO THIS RESTAURANT. Not unless you want crappy food, crappy service, (except our one waitress she was so nice, she was the only pleasant part of our dinner) and a bunch of RULES to your dinner!!!!! Trust me!!! GO...
Read moreThis was just the most awkward restaurant encounter I have ever had. So...stopped in for our first time during 'Happy Hour'. One table had guests at it. The Hostess/Waitress said "2 of you? take that booth in the corner'. We sat, she brought us menus and a basket of chips and a dish of salsa. We ordered two margaritas and asked if there was lard in the refried beans, she said yes and left. When she came back we asked about the rice which had chicken broth in it so we wouldn't eat that either. Realizing we couldn't order a meal, we ordered a side of guacamole which on the menu said $4.50. She brought us another basket of chips and salsa with the guac. We ask for the bill and we realize we have been charged $11.00 for the little dish of guac. When we ask to see the menu again to see how we missed that- we realize we hadn't missed anything. Menu says nothing about $11.00 for guacamole. When we asked her about it, her answer was, "She wants us to charge people for chips when they don't order a meal. So you had to pay for the chips and salsa. When my husband pointed out we didn't even order those two things, she just brought them to us...TWICE...she said "fine don't tip." Well of course we tipped since apparently the Mysterious 'She' made the rules but I will...
Read moreUpon walking in we were sat at a table. We sit down and realize it had not been cleaned so we asked the busser to wipe it. She gave us an attitude dropping off what was in her hands and slamming it down on the counter to grab a towel. She then wipes it grabs chips and salsa and just tosses it on the table. We order our food and I order as I always do with no green bell peppers as it makes me sick. We get our food and my plate is loaded with green bell peppers. We ask them to take it back and she says can I just take them out? I say no so they proceed to make my plate of fajitas again. Bring it out. There is about six pieces of beef and maybe six pieces of chicken. The entire rest of the skillet was probably two onions. From that point on it seemed like we were an inconvenience. Anytime I go to a restaurant and I order fajitas again. I always order without the bell peppers never have. I had an attitude and never had if I had my order wrong. I'm sorry but as your customer you are supposed to take care of us and make it a good experience. We will never go to this establishment again. Need to remember customer service. Is your...
