VERY poor customer care. CANNOT take shower when wanted!! My husband and I pay $1,800 per year to moore our boat in the harbor. We recently stayed on our boat that has no shower, we had decided to stay there because the water main at our house broke.
The harbor bathrooms are locked with a key code. In the past that has been shared with us. My current code did not work. I located another boat owner who shared it with me. Once I entered the building there is NOW a metal gate over the bathroom door (it wasn’t there last time I used it) with padlock. A note on padlocked gate says on Saturday or Sunday call ‘this’ phone number to reach Harbor staff for key. It was 11 am on a Sunday. Called the number and got a message saying ‘No Voicemail has been set up, this person is not available.’ I called 4 times over the following couple of hours.
The beach front park has showers but those also have a keypad lock and for people paying for a campsite.
Monday morning I called the office to get the whys, wherefores and to complain. I had to leave a message - NO ONE has returned my call.
This set up is completely ridiculous! How are workers on boats supposed to stay clean? You are at the mercy of some Port worker to drop what they’re doing to come down with a key and let people into the showers. VERY disappointed with our experience with the Port of...
