We eat at the restaurant often and always have a great experience. We figured with it being so close to where we live it would be a great and convenient space to have our wedding shower. We assumed the private room for events would look as nice as the main restaurant so we booked the space without looking at the room (our mistake). Upon looking at the room it was more of an unkept man cave with tape left on the walls from previous events, recessedlight hanging out of the ceiling. We decided to stick with the space and make the most of it. We had numerous conversations with different staff & managers over the course of the months leading up to the event. We told them the layout and seating we were looking for and the fact that we wanted to try and make it look less like a man cave. The staff and managers seemed to completely understand and offered suggestions of turning off all of the video games and TVs in the space and clearing out the unnecessary high top tables that we weren't going to use and cover the pool tables. Six days prior to the event we spoke with a manager to confirm how the room was going to be set up, the final details and head count and when we would be arriving to decorate. We arrived at 11:00am the day of our event to decorate for our 1:00pm event, only to find the room was not even close to being set-up. We were missing a whole row of low top tables & chairs. We asked that we had all matching chairs for our event, which we were told wouldn't be a problem and we ended up having three drastically different styles of chairs. The extra tables that we weren't going to be using that they said would be moved out of the room were still set-up. The tables for our wedding party weren't set-up. All of the TVs and video games were on, only one pool table was covered and the waitress even asked if we brought table covers because she didn't bother wiping off the tables real well. Unfortunately we had to make the space work because there wasn't enough time. The positive was the food was good and the waitress ended up doing a good job serving our guests and making sure the rest of the event ran more smoothly. I just would not recommend using this space for an event that you truly cared about, unless it's just to drink...
Read moreI have been here twice so far and both times have been decent.
The first trip was with friends around dinner time. The atmosphere was good, music wasn't to loud and servers were attentive. We sat by the garage door which was open. The downside of this is some smokers seem to find it appropriate to stand right there and smoke, a stern word from two of us got the intoxicated guy to move though.
The drink selection is very nice and diverse, a welcome addition to the area that has been in fire need of something like this.
We started with calamari and pretzels. The calamari is good, the pretzels I didn't like, the dough tasted too bleached for me but the dips were very good.
The mains came quickly. For my main I got the filet, it was cooked appropriately and had good flavor, the asparagus was fine and red skin mashed potatoes were very good. We also got the lobster tail dinner and the stir fry. Both were good and would get again We had a small issue with one dish that was remedied right away.
Our second trip was for a drink and some apps. This was on a Friday night around 10:30. The lighting is down and the music is louder, more of a local upscale sports bar for the weekends, also needed in the area. Once again servers were on point, even with a few patrons whose parents seemingly let them out for the first time ever (mind you they were in their 40s)
We did all apps, the calamari again, consistent on quality. Detroit style flat bread, kind of a glorified pepperoni flat bread with a little kick, tasty and would get again. Lastly, the loaded tots, neither of us were overly impressed, the taste of everything was overwhelmed by the beans/chili.
All in all after two trips we are really happy with this addition to the area. For a place that just opened it is run excellent. The only bad spots have really been a couple other patrons, and a dish or two we didn't necessarily like,...
Read moreI want to start by saying I'm a really easy going person. I love the pizza here and my family usually has a good time whenever we visit. However today's visit was disappointing, to say the least. We were seated on the patio around 7:40pm. We waited 20 minutes and no one acknowledged us or even took our drink orders. At this point I was ready to leave but my husband encouraged us staying and giving it a chance. He left to tell someone we had been forgotten and while he was gone another table was seated near us so I told that server/hostess that we had been seated for over 20 minutes with no acknowledgment. She assured me she would let someone know. I'm just glad we brought uno cards to entertain ourselves because it helped ease the sting of it all. About 5 more minutes passed and a non-apologetic waitress approached our table to take our drink order. Another 10-15 minutes passed before they arrived. I told my husband that we should leave but he insisted we stay. We placed our dinner order and got our appetizer soon after but the entree was trailing far behind. Again, no apology for the inconvenience or anything of the sort. Once our entree arrived we were not checked on again until we started rubber necking because we were ready to check out. Oddly, once the server got our boxes and check, she came back with a swiftness that had been unseen the whole evening. Quite frankly I'm surprised he still decided to leave a fair tip, because we were treated anything but fairly. At any rate, the whole experience was disheartening. I have no intentions of returning here. It's very unfortunate because we truly enjoy this...
