Ga ta is moved to pho 2 tô — Restaurant in Orlando

Hint: DON'T be fooled by the great pictures like we did.....🥴😵!!

To start off, we were SO EXCITED to try a new found Vietnamese place to eat. Especially, after seeing the pictures from the reviews. 4 of us drove there hoping to experiencing something new & delightful, unfortunately, it was such a let down.

After having looked over the menu from front to back (Impressive, really!), we decided on our choices, only to have the server told us that 4 out of 7 of our selections were not available that day. Really?? For the drinks to start, we chose sangria, "Sorry, not available." How is that even possible?! 🙄 🤔 After personally handed us the menus, then telling us that 10 minutes after selections were made, and not as you passed out the menus?! (1st sign of warning which we didn't picked up that this experience isn't going to be good).

Overall, the chicken meats were quite chewy (Older chickens) on all of the dishes, 2 appetizers, and 4 entrees. The soup broths weren't anything special to stand out, PERIOD! The sticky rice weren't moist and soft as should be (Not freshly made, we arrived before 6:30PM), and the air temperature was definitely above 80 degrees & muggy (We sweated, and none of the foods were even spicy).

The portions didn't reflect the menu pricings, $160 (No alcohol) for this experience? Ah, thanks, but, NO THANKS!!

So why didn't we complain? 1, we're not that type of people. 2, don't wanna chance our foods with the potential kitchen's "Special Just 4 U" ingredients in it, yikes!! We've heard & read enough horror stories in the past elsewhere.

Word of advice to the business owners, "INSPECT what your incoming valuable customers expect, and, EXPECT what your current valuable customers inspect." It is simple, very simple philosophy.

The young male server was so disrespectful. He coughed several times when bringing the cup of fish sauce. I know he meant to do it. Even his co-worker looked at him like:” What are you doing?”. My bf and I have been here so many times, and he know us, specially my bf since my boyfriend always comes here to pick up the food for me. He is a very easy going person but he can't just take the coughing as an accident. The server did that is because on the visit before I asked to cancel a disk, which I ordered as a side to eat with pho and rice. We already finished the meal and stood at the cashier to check out, but the food hadn’t been ready. He denied our request and offered us to have it for to go. We’re ok with that option and still took the food. One more thing makes me disappointed is the food quality is inconsistent. I got screwed sometimes when order to go.

Update: if you said you checked the security footage, why not included the day? And what you meant is I making up a story. Such a great way to protect...

Upon driving to this location, noticed that this place have very limited parking , turns out that they have more parking in the back lots. The back lots was weird, because it is so small and it’s only one way, also the only way to get out is backing out of the lot. Other than that, the chicken pho in this place tastes very good. The chicken in the broth tastes tougher, because it looks like it uses higher quality and older chicken (Yes, there are different chickens depending on the species and how long it was raise and the conditions it was raised in). Therefore the chicken pho tastes better than other pho places, the deep chicken flavor from the broth and its natural sweetness from the chicken is unbeatable, when compared to other similar restaurant. The interior decor are modern and the waitress is friendly, the location of the place might seem intimidating at first but it is well worth it. Give this place a try if...
