The worst Pharmacy in Orlando! It took a 50 minute phone call to find out why "I needed to take action" according to the Walgreens App. I never got a clear answer. I asked how many employees were working in the Pharmacy right now and she said three. However, during my call I could hear her being asked other questions (prolonging my call) so the other two employees have not been trained properly. Later I picked up my prescription and it took nearly 15 minutes to pick up something that supposedly was ready to pick up. Then find out they only prepared a thirty day dose when my Doctor sent them a 90 day dose. This is been a constant struggle to get a person with proper training! This NEVER happened at the old location where Jason was the Pharmacy manager! People.... get your act together! This new location has been open long enough to get the opening kinks out.... now its simply a sign of mis-management!
6 MONTHS LATER FOLLOW UP: This review prompted a call from the regional manager (who asked the pharmacy manager to call me). She seemed to talk down to me and then she felt like a victim and blamed that she was under-staffed for the poor service. After the call I felt even worse about the Pharmacy than before. So I did what every responsible consumer can do and "vote" with your dollars. I switched to CVS that has a drive through and better parking just like the old store on Peel street. Read moreThis is a nice new new Walgreens. The employees at the register and in the store are very nice and friendly. BUT the service and waittime at the PHARMACY is super bad. The employees at the pharmacy Phoung and Vivian are super unfriendly, arrogant, let you wait forever, ignore you, don't acknowledge you when you are waiting at the counter and keep filling their prescription bottles for another 10-15 min before they get to you. VERY DISAPPOINTING !!! I go there since the opening of the store a few years ago to pick up medication and get vaccinations and have seen this bad behavior of these 2 employess many times. They had to order a vaccination for me, never called me when it was in as promised and then it was the wrong one and had to reorder it again and promised me a call back again on Monday which never happened and I went to pharmacy on Wednesday and it was in. No phone call again of course. I talked to manager Raquel who was very nice and understanding and this behavior of these 2 employees seemed to be all new to her. She offered me some kind of compensation but I refused and I went to Publix next door to get my flushot and tetanus shot. Read moreI ordered a poster board print online to this location. A day and a half later I get the confirmation email that it’s complete. I go that night to pick it up and after searching around and not finding it - they tell me that somebody must have completed it but not done the job. I ask if they can just complete the order and I’ll pick it up the following day. The manager tells me “of course and I’m here at 2pm tomorrow so if anything, I’ll call you”. The next day I receive no call, but I do receive another email saying that my order has been completed. I go back that night to pick my print up and, again, there is no print. The same manager tells me “oh somebody called you” (which they did not) come to find out they have 5 people working and not one of them knows how to work the printer. The manager keeps telling me that “someone from dayshift must have completed the order without actually doing it”. I can’t believe that a company would spend thousands of dollars on a poster board printer and not educate its employees on how to operate it, nor teach them how to operate a phone if an order can’t be fulfilled so that I don’t waste MY time trying to pick it up two days in a row.
