Updated: Original review below this update. I received a phone call from the store and the gentleman really wanted to know what I thought was going on there that day so we had a nice little discussion. Very polite. He apologized for the problem and sent me 2 free sub coupons. I have been in there a second time, this time ordering in person, and things went very well. I am updating from a 1 to 3 stars for now and will update in the future when I see how it goes the 3rd time. I really think the first time I went there the staff was overwhelmed as things were running better this last time.
Decided to try Jersey Mike's off Conroy here in Orlando since we recently got an apartment right down the road. I just went to Wal-Mart to buy my wife a birthday cake and a few other groceries and thought I would order a couple subs and surprise her with lunch. I placed the order on the app and was told it would be ready at 12:51pm. In past experience with other restaurants the times are generally correct. So I arrived at Jersey Mike's and entered the store to look for the contact free area, that the app said would be there, to pick up my order but there wasn't one. There was a line of way too many people and a group of people waiting to pick up their orders too. The number of people easily exceeded the local rules due to COVID. If you were a walk-in customer you were obviously the most important since they hadn't gotten your money yet. So I watch everyone that was there when I arrived get their food. I waited. Others waited. Others finally got their food and I am still waiting. The young lady at the counter just kept telling everyone to wait that nothing was ready. Finally I reached my limited and told her that I have been waiting and my order was supposed to be ready at 12:51pm and that I had groceries waiting in the car. I give her my name and show her my confirmation number. She then proceeds to tell me that my order didn't print so she printed it. After about 5 minutes I finally had my order handed to me in a very much contact environment. No attempt to make me a happy customer. I was handed my subs at 1:15pm so it took 24 minutes to finally get my food. I will forever remember Jersey Mike's as some of the worst service ever. Read moreI placed to go order at 8:15 on Tuesday evening. You took my money processed my order and as soon as I was done you immediately texted me and canceled my order and said a refund will be coming soon.
This is horrible customer service there's no excuse why you can't get a sub made in 45 minutes before closing.
This is one of the reasons most restaurants and fast food are failing!!!!
Sorry to say ....Me and my family will not visit this establishment again.
Also my crew from work A MAJOR BOX STORE IN MILLENIA will not be eating from here anymore I will buy them food from another establishment.
I have no sympathy for excuses!! My family has had several restaurant franchises over the years.
The key to success is CONSISTENCY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE ALWAYS!!
The real STING was I stopped at the 7-Eleven next door at 8:35 And you only have three customers in the store. 😟

Read moreThe absolute most poor customer service I’ve experienced at any Jersey Mike’s Location that we have ever visited. I went in 15 minutes before closing. The staff members were already cleaning the machines, understandably. However, what is not understandable is that the location did not close for another 10 minutes and the young guys working told me “you can order a sandwich but we are out of bread and lettuce” and then starred at me as if I was wrong for coming in. Then one replied “yeah well we close in 10 minutes.” How does a sub shop run out of bread and lettuce, and why is the door unlocked and open for business if this was the situation?
