My husband and I came to the area for Chinese grocery shopping and we stepped into Joyful Tasty Palace to give it a try. After some chatting with the service lady, I asked for her recommendation on the best Fujian dishes. So here we go - a wonderful Sweet & Sour Whole Sea Bass covered with a melody of veggies - not too sweet and not too much vinegar either. The fish skin is crispy and the mean tender and juicy. A plate of rice cakes stir fried with crab and mixed vegetables, soft and flavorful, quite different from the Shanghainese style I am more familiar with. And a big serving of Morning Glory, a green, leafy vegetable dish. Overall, a very authentic Chinese meal, so much better than the some...

The service was bad; our waiter was very unfriendly. He did not smile at all, so it seem intimidating to the customers to ask for further requests. The food was disappointing in many ways. Sauce was sweet (americanized) and the food did not taste authentic at all. The dishes are way too overpriced, and they also forced added the tip for the waiter in our checks without notifying us. This is unreasonable because tipping is based on the quality of the service we received at a restaurant, and our waiter did not deserve over 20% of our meal, especially not by forced tipping nor his emotionless face. We won't be back, and I do not recommend this place to anyone else either. Save your money for...

Came here by accident but surprised with the tasty and authenticity of real Fuzhou foods. I grew up eating my dad’s homemade Fuzhou foods so I could tell it’s almost as good as it supposed to be. Certainly you can’t get any real Fuzhou local flavors anywhere outside the Fuzhou, the capital of Fujian, China, but this one here in Orlando outskirt seemed to be a fairly good approximation.

First time here and a few dishes were all Fuzhou specialties (Fish meatballs, Bianrou dumplings, and sticky rice sweet ball’s soup, etc.), so I cannot attest their other offerings. Gave five stars simply because I really liked their Fuzhou specialties and good &...

This place is definitely a hidden Gem. It’s lowkey kinda hard to find because the store is faced inward into the plaza so you can’t really see it from the road. This place is by far favorite Fuzhouese Restaurant, and I think the only one in Orlando. The dishes are very authentic and reminds me of when I was eating it in Fuzhou. I only tried a couple of the signature dishes but I will definitely come back to try the others.
