I don’t usually write bad reviews, but my recent experience here was extremely disappointing. I came in with two of my friends to celebrate some personal milestones, and we decided to get boba at Moge Tee. When we walked in, one of my friends let the cashier know that all three of us would be ordering.
My friends already knew what they wanted, so they placed their orders first. Since it was my first time there, it took me about five minutes to decide. But when I went up to order, the cashier smirked and said, “We’re closed, we closed a minute ago.”
I was completely caught off guard. First, my friend had clearly told him that all of us were ordering. Second, the way he spoke to me came off as rude and dismissive. I understand businesses have closing hours, and I absolutely respect that—but had I known they were closing so soon, I wouldn’t have even tried to order. Instead, I was left standing there while my two friends, both holding their drinks, were just as shocked as I was.
I’m sure their drinks are good and they normally provide solid service, but based on how I was treated, I can’t recommend this place. This is going to be a one star from me.
EDIT/RESPONSE:
You guys completely disregarded how I felt/experienced. I’ve experienced rude customer service and no there was no misunderstanding because if there were power out issues, I would understand. Two it was at a normal business...
Read moreMöge Tea is awesome! This is another great boba and milk tea option right in the Mills-50 area near downtown Orlando. We went here for the first time recently and got a tiramisu milk tea with cheese foam and a rose oolong tea with cheese foam. Both were really good! They were just as good as pretty much anywhere else in the area - the only places I think might still be a bit better are ROYALTEA as well as I-Tea at Lotte Market; however, that could just be because we didn’t order the “perfect” drinks. We probably should try a few more things to get a fuller picture. The cheese foam was excellent - maybe even richer and more “real” tasting than your standard cheese foam. This place has super cute decor inside (fancier and more upkept than a standard boba place, so a +1 there) and it seems like it’d be the perfect place to hang out with your friends or even get some work done. Service was good, employees were very helpful in describing drinks that you don’t see at other boba shops, and they made our teas very quickly! BTW, you can park in the lot behind the store (directly west on the map). We will definitely return very soon. Check...
Read moreWent to check out this new boba place with my girlfriend because we love boba and have tried most places in town. This place however, was very disappointing. The interior looked beautiful and I was really expecting an exquisite drink after seeing the quality of the store. My girlfriend ordered a classic Taro boba and I ordered the Brown sugar bubble milk tea. Unfortunately for us, the BOBA restaurant was out of boba and didnt feel like making more. After getting our boba-less drinks I found out my drink actually came with boba so I was a little confused and also disappointed in the communication as well as the taste of the boba itself. Both Bobas tasted like they did not put enough syrup into it which means they tasted mainly like their base ingredients, milk and tea with hints of brown sugar, and taro respectively. The only silver lining was that we found a better and less expensive boba place down the road which was an upgrade...
