Orlando Food Diary: A Week of Culinary Adventures – 8 Must-Visit Spots Checked Off! 📝

I came here one day to get a little treat after a wonderful dinner with wonderful friends. I wanted one of the fancy teas with the bubbles in them that all the kids are drinking nowadays. So I checked out my list and discovered that this place was voted one of the best teahouses in all of Orlando. At least according to the fine readers of Orlando Weekly. So I stopped in, confusingly stared at the menu, and eventually asked the barista for some help and advise. I decided on the Peach Oolong, with the Cheese Mousse. I added another dose of sweetener, because I'm from The South. The peach tea part was very nice. Sweet, but not too sweet. The one part I was worried about was, I didn't know what the heck cheese mousse was. I was not disappointed. It's like a cream cheese whipped cream? But more solid. It was bizarre. Bizarrely delicious. If you're new and skeptical to all this stuff, just try it, trust me. I also got to sample the Traditional Royal Bubble Tea. It was fun. It was a sweet, milky tea. You'd like it. And the boba were nice. They were too chewy like some other ones I've had. Just a couple of chews and down they can go. But, there are way too many of them. There are dozens and dozens. Too many, it's overwhelming. If you don't want a million things to eat, I suggest asking them to go easy on the boba. Overall, this place was a super fast casual place to pop in, get your tea, and be on your way. An easy five stars, and this place has earned a customer for life.

I absolutely love their milk tea with boba topped with cheese mousse! The milk tea tastes fresh and has just the right amount of sweetness. The boba (tapioca pearls) is soft and chewy. I get it topped off with cheese mousse...yes the name sounds crazy..like who puts cheese on top of their drink?? It made me think of those weird cheddar cheese sprays grocery stores used to carry and maybe still do! Lol I was wrong, it's like salted caramel white creamy foam.. it's amazing and totally enhances the boba tea experience! It comes in this large plastic cup with a cute heart stopper 💕 Trendy inside with some seating but it's usually full. So FYI there's only street parking and it's on Mills Ave.. absolute craziness to get in and out of the driver's side. It's an absolute risk lol that I'm willing to take for this boba tea! Whoever ends up behind the register doesn't seem friendly maybe because they are stressed out with the number of people😳 and service can seem inefficient at times especially on a Saturday night when it was packed!

I went today for second time this week, and I was so exited because I love their tea. A "lady" with a terrible customer service told me I can't have a drink that someone else made me the other day. She said they are not starbucks to adjust anything in my drink. I warn her that I was going to record her, of course her attitude change she said she is the "manager" and the owner of other of the stores if I am not mistaken is the Waterford location. She said she can change 1 of the ingredients in one of the teas, but she can't alternate the drink. Each tea is around $8.00 but her attitude is so sad. She raised her voice at the point that all the customers that were in turn arround and stare at us during the discussion. She ask me to leave the store, I ask her for corporate number or yhe owner # for that location and of course she told me there is none. I need some to contact me so I can show the video and share my bad experience. The only thing I suggest to this lady is she need to read more about customer service, I know not everyone is great for this, however if you can't deal with customer service do not take a job that you need to deal...

Don’t go here if you don’t want to get addicted.

I was recommended this place by a coworker because I was moving into the area. Ever since I’ve tried this place, I have gotten pretty much every mousse tea once a week. I have gotten almost everyone hooked on this place.

What to get:

I can’t speak to any of the fruit teas but what I can say is to get the cheese mousse. The cheese mousse adds a salty sweet complexity to your drink that will have you thinking about it in every waking moment.

Get the cheese mousse on black tea or coffee. In my opinion if you get it on something that already has milk it’s a little too much.

Coffee —- amazing I just don’t get it often bc of the caffeine Rose — if you love floral tastes, get this one Lychee — I like this because I like lychee but sometimes it’s a lil weird Peach — not my favorite with the cheese Milk tea — a little overwhelming but if you’re someone that likes lots of cream (I’m a black coffee drinker) this could be for you

Rewards program:

You’re going to come here often. Because of that always print your receipt. There’s a code to text and it acts as a punch card. After every 10 drinks you...
