A good place to eat at Orlando International Airport. This is one of the many restaurants in the central food court of the airport between Terminal A and B. It has a simplified menu from other Moe’s in that it offers bowls and wraps but does not offer Tea or Quesadillas. The seating is an open area between the two sets of restaurants and surrounding a fish tank in the middle. Orlando Airport is busy so if you have trouble finding a seat there is more seating in the center of the walkway to the sides. The Staff was friendly and we ordered nachos and beef and queso. I have never had that before and found it fresh and very tasty. The order was prepared quickly in a line fashion. The checkout person was busy so the person from the next door carvel shop checked us out. The price was reasonable for airport food cost and the current economy. There appeared to be bottled drinks and some fountain drinks (water, sodas, etc) but no tea. Utensils and napkins are on the counter behind you as you check out, closer to the seating area. Overall, the food was good, the staff was friendly, and the prices were reasonable...
Read moreMessage to corporate: I care about the environmental impact of my meal. I cancelled my order after you insisted you must put a plastic lid on my salad. I would pay for my salad, walk to to my table, take off the lid and throw away the lid. Just give me the salad without the lid. Let's not be wasteful. Florida food safety law was cited by the manager. In that case, Florida, be reasonable. By the way, I think my salad would have been delicious.
Update: on my return trip through Orlando Airport, I gave this restaurant another chance. Ordered, asked for no lid, got a very reasonable, "sure, no problem" reply, paid, ate, enjoyed every bite. Only remaining comment, the very sturdy plastic bowl: will it stay in landfill forever or is it one of those that degrades...
Read moreThis is the absolute worst Moe’s I’ve ever been to, and I’ve been to many in several different states. I love Moe’s so much, I have considered buying a franchise location. I just bought a $15 burrito that had literally four small cubes of steak. No usual condiments like a real Moe’s has (no cilantro, fresh jalapeños, classic chicken). Rudest staff I’ve ever encountered. Not just one worker, EVERY SINGLE ONE. On top of all those negatives, they up-charged me for a big queso and gave me a small one, then refused to give me the queso size I paid for (because I already was holding the small one). Ridiculous. Moe’s corporate, shut this location down. It gives your good locations a black eye, and you’ll lose customers that have their first Moe’s experience...
