I came for the first time on a Saturday afternoon. I drove quite a while to get here. When I got here at 12 they weren't open , I waited another 15 min and still nothing. I got a bit annoyed and left to the gas station and to a store . I decided to go to another Puertorican spot ( which there's plenty in the area) before I tried to check on them again. Arrived at 12:45 ish and they were open. I asked and they said they opened later because of the rain. Is a small restaurant with a bright color and good music. I order a alcapurria, a conch empanadilla, a octopus cup and a mofongo with fried pork. To drink we took a piña colada (virgin). I must say the food was the saving grace of my rating. This was absolutely one of the BEST Puertorican food I've had in the area. The alcapurria was big and full of meat. The conch empanadilla was fresh and flavorful . The octopus salad was the best I've had in YEARS! Big chunks of octopus, super tender and barely no onions and peppers. The mofongo was soft and not dry, did not need any caldo or sauce. The fried pork had a nice mix of fatty parts , not dry onda super seasoned. I absolutely loved the flavor of everything and I would highly recommended.

I am very upset. Today I ordered a mixed seafood cocktail and instead of bringing it in the traditional plastic cup today they only used a small plate, in which there were just three shrimps and very small pieces of octopus. Additionally I ordered rice with pigeon peas and tostones and after 25 minutes they only served a tasteless plain white rice with under-cooked tostones. I let the waitress know of my discomfort but she only apologized. The food was horrible and they send me the check for $35, I said the that was wrong and they said that was correct so I asked for the menu and showed the price was wrong, again they just apologized. So fortunately I checked the price before leaving. Another customer at the door mentioned he was also frustrated because of he also had a recent bad experience..

First time and last. Nothing compare to PR how are you a restaurant and you do not have rice. Then waited so long on our meal I had fried plantains with chicken. I did not enjoy the chicken. It had feathers like they do not clean it. Then my hubby order coffee & was given the tiniest foam cup you do not even give to child.

Very disappointed by yesterday's meal, Thursday July 23 at around 1:30 pm. There was no customers, so we thought we had a better chance that the food would be delicious. Unfortunately this was not the case. We have been on several occasions before and the quality of the food has not been consistent but today it has been the worst. We ordered several dishes including two fried meat dishes and 3 Caribbean dishes. The fish didn't taste fresh, it was so tough that you couldn't eat them with the plastic fork (that was the worst). They also talked about the difference in pieces of the aluminum foil and they did not finish wrapping the plates (not only that they're were flies nearby) and when I asked if they could wrap it faster because it started to rain heavily (and in Florida when it rain it's accompanied by lightning) In addition, not only were we getting wet, the employee who was attending us asked her colleague in a sarcastic manner to help her because I did not want to get wet. I don't like being rude but I confess I had to breathe deeply not to be. The gentleman was kind and explained us that he was missing lettuce and that is why he gave us passion fruit juice. In the end it’s all about the quality of the food and the service. That’s why we won’t come back again.
