UPDATE: June 2022 - Still 1 star or less! I just tried calling in an order because I really love the stuff crust that Pizza Hut has. The person answering the phone was incredibly unable. First they hung up on me. I called back and was very upbeat. They could not have had a worse personality and could not get my address right. I finally just hung up. This is ridiculous. Years have gone by. You seriously cannot get a team who cares and has caring service?? How hard can it possibly be?? It’s pizza. Good lord.
The manager Shawn treated me like trash. One of the rudest “managers” (I don’t believe this person even fits that title) I’ve encountered at any place of business. My order was cancelled because I “missed the driver’s phone call”. An hour and a half passed and no food showed. I called. Apparently, as they say, I missed a knock at my door, as well. Granted, I did take the dog out for a walk, but my phone was GLUED TO MY SIDE. I checked back for missed calls. There were none. Zero missed calls. So, I asked to speak to the manager about all of this, because it was absurd. Shawn very abruptly said in a annoyed tone, “I’m not debating this with you - you missed the calls - what do you want to do reorder or cancel?!” I literally said to this man, “Why are you treating me so rudely??” , to which he exclaimed, “I’m not!! What do you want to do?? Cancel?! ” It may sound silly, but it was 100% shocking. I just couldn’t believe a human could speak to another human in this type of way over a business transaction.
This is just pizza. The food is no worry to me (although I never got it). This is about pure and utter rudeness and the lack of guest care. Whoever this man is, he should be in no position to handle customers directly.
I was so offended and aghast that I researched and found their customer satisfaction hotline (it’s not easy to find). I spoke to a lovely woman who took all of my information and assured me a regional manager would contact me. No regional manager has reached out. I’ve checked my phone for messages. None.
I also commented at Pizza Hut about this incident directly on Twitter. No reply or apology.
Needless to say, I wholeheartedly will not order Pizza Hut again. Not anywhere. This is what the company has apparently evolved into. Read moreI seriously have no clue how this location is still in business. If it was up to me I would shut them down for good. The manager is very rude. I went the other day and was waiting in line. Some other people came in after me and stated they were picking up customer orders for Uber Eats and Door Dash. The manager started to tell them all Uber Eats and Door Dash orders would not be fulfilled so they left.
When I got to the front of the line I advised the manager that I had a mobile order and she proceeded to raise her voice and yell at me talking about "did you not hear me when I said all Uber Eats and Door Dash orders were cancelled? Do you not listen?!" I advised her that I am neither an Uber Eats or Door Dash customer and that I had placed an order on the Pizza Hut app. She then proceeded to get my order. No apology. Don't raise your voice at me like I am one of your kids. I am a paying customer. If you are stressed out or overworked you call it a day and go home.
If you plan to call them to place an order, well goodluck. They NEVER answer their phone EVER. Sometimes when you go there is no line so I go right to the front counter only to have employees stare at me from the back of the kitchen and then proceed to rudely ignore you before coming out to assist you 5 or 10 minutes later. They don't do curbside pickup even though the app and website both give you the option to select that for this location. No wonder pizzahut is bankrupt! No idea how this location is still...
Read moreHorrible! I’ve given this place 3 tries and each time they fail. Customer service: horrible Yesterday I placed an order at 6:55 and was told it would arrive by 7:47. At 8:30 I attempted to call, at 8:45 I was still on hold so I left home and went to the location. As I was pulling up after being on hold for 36 minutes someone picked up the phone and hug up. Now since about 7:20 the tracker stated the pizza was in the oven. Not true because when I arrived they first said they didn’t remember seeing my name after I told them my name. Well after they looked in the system they saw where I had placed and paid for my order and they rudely stated that my order had not been started and that they have a 3 hour wait. I just don’t understand how I went for 30 - 40 minute wait to going to the location and the items I ordered had not been prepared but the tracker showed different. Does that mean the workers just hit the trackers not to hurt their time, like the drive thru??? Overall I give this location a negative 10 due to this not being the first time but it is the last time.
