Charleys Cheesesteaks and Wings — Restaurant in Orlando

Welp, my kids love this place, me, not so much. I stop and grab some Arbys curly fries because I dont care for the fries, just my personal preference. Anywhoo, I go for the chicken cheesesteak. I order it with mayo, extra provolone, extra grilled onions and mushrooms. Each and every time, thats my order. I check NO for all the extras they like to toss on there. The last time, they put a lot of lettuce on it. Dude, Im not eating cold lettuce on a hot sandwich. Now I have to pick it all off before I can eat it. Not so bad. This time, I get the sandwich, open it up and right away I can tell there are NO mushrooms. Ughhh... Then I start moving the food around and what to my wondering eyes do I see, but a big ole slice of green pepper!! Double Ughhhhh!!! Now I have to finger through this mass of meat and what looks to be on the burnt side of onions and green peppers. What a chore that is to sift through this mess and try and sort out onions and green peppers when they both are the color of burnt. End result, I actually ate the whole thing. Not the best tasting but it was still pretty decent. Next time (I know, I know...Im a sucker for punishment but the kids love their hoagies) I am checking my sandwich out before I leave the premises. C'mon People, just read the order before...

First of all, this is Charlie’s and the food should definitely be good regardless. Problem number one when I enter the restaurant the chairs are all out of line blocking the register. I stand there waiting because at this point, I don’t know whether or not the store is really open. I asked the person cleaning the lobby is the store open she says yes I stand there because I can’t walk to the register. She looks at me crazy I say, where am I supposed to stand. she says oh, and then moves the chairs. When I walk up to the register she takes my order which she is nice. However, when she passes me my cups, she has her fingers inside of the cups and mind you she just let go of the mop handle, I asked her can you please give me 2 cups that your fingers aren’t inside of and she got an attitude. but she still gives me 2 cups without putting her fingers inside the cup. This was my first visit to this location as well as the first that was not located in a mall or airport. The dining room was very clean, and I was observing quite a bit of cleaning going on in the food prep/grill area between customer orders (and it was a slow afternoon), so that was all deemed as positive. My fries were hot, fresh, and crispy, which was appreciated. My sandwich (Chicken California) was tasty once I got an extreme amount of sauce (ranch dressing) removed by literally draining it off. I'm going to guess that perhaps there was a malfunction of the dispenser bottle, but that was WAY too much. My order was for Dine In, yet it comes in a box and bag which seemed a bit wasteful. There are no ketchup packets available to grab, as well as no napkins in the dining room or condiment area. Unsweet tea was not an option, which was disappointing since most locations offer that.
