Read moreWawa, a popular convenience store chain known for its delicious hoagies and extensive selection of items, offers a convenient stop for a quick bite or grocery needs. However, one inconvenience that stands out is the locked beer cooler. While it's understandable and appreciated that they take the responsibility of checking everyone's ID seriously, the process can be a hassle for customers.
When you want to purchase beer, you have to wait in line, and once it's your turn, you have to request assistance from an employee to unlock the cooler for you. This means going back to the front of the store, waiting again, and then returning to the cooler to make your selection. It can be time-consuming and frustrating, especially during busy periods when lines are long.
However, it is worth noting that Wawa's commitment to checking IDs is commendable and necessary to maintain compliance with legal requirements. They prioritize the safety and well-being of their customers and adhere to the regulations regarding alcohol sales.
Overall, while the locked beer cooler can be an inconvenience, it's a trade-off for ensuring responsible alcohol sales. Despite this drawback, Wawa remains a popular choice for its tasty food, wide variety of products, and convenient locations, making it a go-to stop for many...
Read morePeople making the food are rude. Cashiers usually super nice. I prefer to leave 5 star reviews, and compliment the few people in this world that are still nice and caring, but last nights visit at this wawa location really made me upset. I ordered a quesadilla. One employee told me “it’ll be a few minutes because we are waiting on the bacon” I asked “actually can I get it without bacon, please?” (Didn’t realize I ordered it with bacon. It was an accident- and I told her this.) I was friendly and polite as I always try to be. She said okay. The other employee did bring the bacon over and the first girl told her (I heard it.) “she doesn’t want it with bacon” Then apparently that same person proceeded to make it with tons of bacon and told me to have good night. Do you guys think that was funny? I’m a paying customer and I did nothing to deserve that. How extremely shady.
I’ve been vegetarian for almost 4 years and didn’t want bacon (was an accident it was added to my order. I had no idea until the first employee told me they were waiting on it.) Why would you do this to me just to be...
