Twistee Treat SODO — Restaurant in Florida

I've been going to twistee treat for over 15 years and I've never had a worse experience than I did last Friday. I came 10 minutes BEFORE closing and all the curtains we closed, they weren't taking my order at the speaker so I drove up to the window where I knocked, honked and yelled and somebody yelled "we're closed!" And continued to ignore me. I waited there 10 minutes knocking and honking till finally somebody opened the curtains and said we're closed and that they close at 11:30 on Fridays. Although Google, the website and the sign on the building say 12am. He said that's not true, they're always close at 11:30 but he'd still take my order. I literally repeated my order to him 4 times. Two quarts, one with vanilla ice cream, cheesecake and sprinkles. The other vanilla ice cream, peanut butter, brownie and sprinkles. They made them but I could hear them talking about me so I knew something was wrong. I double checked that they both had sprinkles, the boy says no, I was annoyed because I repeated the order so many times so I just said it's fine, give me the sprinkles on the side. But when I got home is when I really got angry. They forgot the peanut butter and to be funny and to get back at me for making them make my order they gave me an entire quart of sprinkles, I'm not exaggerating, it was literally filled to the top with sprinkles and a touch of ice cream and brownies. It was so much sprinkles that the ice cream looked like chocolate and every bite was 90% sprinkles it was inedible, not even kids wanted to eat it because there was no ice cream to go with the quart of sprinkles they gave me. I have picture as well. The boys that worked that night really treated this business like they owned it, from closing 30 minutes early, blasting music, ignoring customers, to trying to get revenge on me by playing that prank with the quart full of sprinkles and obviously smoking things on the job because when they opened the window I could smell a lot more than ice cream. I need someone to contact me about this because this entire entire was uncalled for and a huge red flag...

Always great ice cream and always great service—until tonight. A small, young, dark haired female ‘running’ the drive thru decided after asking us to repeat our extremely simple (kiddie cup vanilla w/ sprinkles) order three times over the intercom, that she would open the window once we pulled up and give us the shoulder shaking-hair flipping-I’m too good for this job-mannerisms and inflection while explaining that she was running the place by herself. Meanwhile there’s a young man right next to her quite obviously making the orders. Wide eyed I repeated the order and she slung the cup around wildly causing sprinkles to fly out of it, acted like an animal, and told my wife and I that we had the attitude. Everyone has a bad day, but as I explained to her, if a job taking simple orders via drive thru is so taxing that you believe you need to ‘tell off’ customers, then you’ll probably continue living a miserable life. I told the young man who was extremely professional that we weren’t upset and didn’t have an issue with our order, but that he needed to get rid of her to keep people coming back. I have been to this location a few times with no problems other than a minor wait from time to time. I stopped here the other night and was the only car in the drive thru. The girl was very friendly at the window and we chatted for a minute before she disappeared. A guy cane to the window a minute or so later and asked me what I had ordered again. Like a good 5 minutes or more goes by and I'm still waiting. I'm wondering what is taking so long because as I mentioned I was the only car there. I had ordered a reeses cup twirl. The guy finally comes to the window after a ridiculously long time and hands me a reeses pieces twirls...not what I ordered. So I told him, hey I ordered the cups not the pieces this isn't what I ordered. With no manners or apology he hands me the one I didn't order says I can just keep it and closes the window. The original girl comes back a minute or two later nd hands me the correct order with no apology or sorry for the wait or understanding. Makes me not want to visit this location again. I feel bad for the 6 cars that were stuff waiting that cane after me to...
