Firehouse Subs Ormond Beach — Restaurant in Ormond Beach

We're local, repeat customers, and love Firehouse. We doordashed an order. After 30 minutes, we received a message from our dasher stating that he's been waiting over 15 minutes for the order. I called the store to confirm that the store received the order. The gentleman who answered the phone told me that doordash was assigning a driver. I explained that the dasher was waiting for the order at the store. The employee then told me that that said, "you need to wait your turn." I was simply calling to confirm that they received my order because as the dasher had been waiting for a while and the order email confirming the order was received 30 minutes prior to the call. What I didn't expect was the condensending tone and dishonesty from the employee. When I asked to speak to the manager to confirm that the order was received and processed, She halfway listened to what I said and hung up on me. Unfortunately, the recent employee changes at this location have brought the service down. As much as we love Firehouse Subs, we will take our business elsewhere since customer service isn't...

Upon arriving at this oh so fine establishment I was greated by 2 blank stares. Like I had just stepped out of a phone booth in 1992. I proceeded to look over the menu. Still not greeted nor even acknowledged for that matter. "Will that be all". I heard in a faint tone. Finally he speaks!! I nodded and took my place by the tv. Few mins passes and the gentleman who took my order had a mound of bread he's cutting. No meat being steamed, no sides being containered. Just murdering loaf after loaf mindlessly. Then he erupts with 1 more hour in this place!! A few more mins pass and he erupts again. Only this time it's to the frail little kid sweeping the floor and an unknown party from the back. Out comes this little girl who hadn't a clue what was going on only to being belittled by this 50something yr old dude. Anyhow, she made the sandwich and I bolted. I went to the firehouse subs on 175 S. Nova road #8 In Ormond Beach Florida and the people there don't even greet when you come in. Not only me but not 1 person that came into that store. I was standing there for quite some time before they even talked to me. An employee asked me finally, are you picking up? And I was picking up an order for DoorDash. I Said no. I'm just standing here and smiled because they left me standing there so long So I guess that rubbed the guy the wrong way perhaps. When they finally had my order made for my delivery, he just set it down and said there you go. Didn't make eye contact or say have a nice day anything. I said thank you and have a great day. What a bad vibe and customer service. I've been here before and it was not this unpleasant. I picked up a second order very soon after and still no communication except from me, smiling and saying I'm back for another order pick up. At least I didn't wait very long...
