Honestly my worst ever experience getting an upgrade for my phones for my wife and I. Eric was the sales representative who handled the transaction. And this has been on going since November of 2024 to get resolved. He manipulated us into thinking we were getting our old phones paid off and new phones discounted in full. I asked is that even possible to which he said yes. At the time the promo for Black Friday mentioned was either a credit for new phones discounted with paying off old phones. Or to pay old phones off ourselves and then have new phones completely discounted. However sales representative person, Eric Friend, told us no I can get both old phones paid off and your new phones completely paid for monthly as long as you agree to stay with Verizon for 3 years (contract length for upgrade). So we did the process and asked him every step of the way are you sure that is the discount there is no catch. He agreed.
Well fast forward a few months when bill should have had retro back pay for discounts and nothing. Reached out to store told me to talk to Eric. I finally got ahold of him in person and said whatās going on with the discounts. He said Iāll look into it and gives his cell number out in case I have questions or to check in. Keep reaching out and finally come Mays bill we finally see proper discounts. But waitā¦.next month our phones are only discounted by half. I reached out and he said he would work on it. Kept reaching out and never got it sorted out. After so many texts back and forth and trying to get fixed I was told by someone else at the store to go to a corporate store. Yup you heard right this store is just a 3rd party sales for Verizon that literally has less ability to help you then corporate store (I wish I knew that in beginning bc let me tell you when I say this donāt go here). They tried to help but ultimately told me the Ormond beach location had to fix their mistake. So I go back to the store today and ask for help to which I am told I was wrong and wasnāt promised the stuff by Eric. And said they canāt help anymore and āescalated itā to Verizon customer service and they will give me a call.
Have yet to get the call to sort out after going to the store today but let me say this, donāt go to this store. I knew something was off when we didnāt get proper discounts and I am frustrated that no one is willing to make up for this mistake at the Ormond beach location. We got tricked into paying for a promotion that was not as all phrased correctly when given to us and I wish I never made the transaction at this location. All I can say is I will use a corporate store from now on never a third party and will ensure that is the case...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNote that this is not a Corporate owned store, but rather a Verizon dealer. This matters because the level of service you get is dramatically different. We opened a family plan at this store today and discussed with the associate, ad-nauseum that one of our family members lived in a different state. This was important as heās 10+ hours away by plane and we didnāt want to leave him without service. We transferred his phone number over from another carrier with the understanding that he would be able to go into a Verizon store where he lives and pickup the necessary sim card to make his device work properly. We were told he would be unable to pick up his new phone as he isnāt an authorized user on the account and couldnāt be listed as one for the first 30 days that our account is active.
When he went to the store, he was unable to get the sim card and was told heād need to be an authorized user on the account. Several phone calls and a lot of frustration later, we learned that we were able to add him as an authorized user. Granted this needed to be done by the primary account holder in their Verizon account, but overall, it was extremely simple to do. Why this guidance wasnāt given to us by this local dealer is beyond me.
Overall, their service was unfriendly, bordering on rude. Theyāre not transparent in the plans they offer, and you must be prepared to do a lot of your own math to check their numbers before signing on the dotted line. You couldnāt pay me to go back to this store. Iāll only be visiting Corporate owned stores moving forward.
Update as of 9/21 - I called Cellar Sales per their request. The lack of accountability this company and their employees is truly astonishing. As our new phones have started arriving, we've learned that the man who set up our account, Dylan, added 4 new phone numbers (for some insane reason). This has complicated the upgrade process unnecessarily. Additionally, we've had to speak with 5 different people just to get 2 of the 3 phones we ordered. We're actively waiting on the 3rd to come in and keep the run around. I would rather have all of my teeth pulled by a seedy car mechanic than interact with anyone who represents this poor excuse for a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI gave her eyes on one star. The parking lot's way too small I spent 20 minutes just to try and get out of there. When they're busy there's no parking. I went in the place is clean it's nice and you got five people ready to sell you something. The thing is I did not feel comfortable that I could look around at the phones they were like when you sit down get your information see what you wanted without showing you anything. I'm not impressed. Don't get me wrong they were super nice very polite hi customer service yes but I really went there to look around and get some information they gave me the information and told me have a nice day I said goodbye and I didn't see anything they don't let me see any phones and they didn't show me anything. They just told me what the plan was which is way too much money if you ask me oh my God I think they're losing their own pockets with that much money they want you to pay a month it's insane I don't know any other phone company that churches that much money. That's just crazy. I think for this company they're overpricedand the fact that I was uncomfortable to look at the phones and they didn't show me any of the phones or they just wanted money and that's all they wanted to talk about and send you on your way outside the store without saying anything it's rude and they lost my business...
