Stay away from Big Lots. Recently tried to buy online to pick up the next day. Went to Big Lots the next morning and they only had two of the six items I ordered. Took about 15 minutes to finally get someone to help as the first cashier ignored me to talk to her friend. The manager confirmed I would not be charged for the missing items. A week later my credit card auto alerted that Big Lots had charged my card again for the order they didn't fulfill. I reported Big Lots for fraud and cancelled that card. Never going near that store again. But wait, this saga continued to get worse. Called BL customer service and was told that I picked up the rest of my order from a store almost 30 miles away a week after I picked up 2 of 6 items at the local BL. Then the BL agent said I didn't pick them up yet but was charged anyway. I kept asking him to cancel that charge but he said I had to wait out the days for it to auto cancel, days which had already passed. Called BL back with a "case number" the agent gave me. My husband and I were looking for a particular transforming ottomans but our local store was flooded the same time our house was, my husband called every Big Lots in a 50 mile radius for two of the ottomans. The Port Orange store wouldn't sell their floor display so we went to the Ormond Beach store because they had one in the back of the store and my husband asked off hand if they would sell us the floor model because we couldn't find another at that point and we really wanted a set. We were told yes and after we paid, two strong female employees (I feel so bad I can't remember their names) even loaded in our truck which is a blessing because my husband and I were hurting from moving damaged furniture out of our house all week. After that we decided to check out Perrine's next door. Well they were very helpful and I helped a lady get some cat litter in her car she wanted and when I got up to the counter I told them about her she was an elderly lady and I knew she wouldn't be able to lift that 40 lb box fire herself and they told me not to worry that they would find somebody to take it out there for her and then on my way out there was this gentleman that heard me was telling heard me was telling the story about her and then they asked how was I going to get mine and my car and I said I just roll it up to the trunk open it up and just lift it and give it a good roll well that gentleman come over to the car and helped me get my cat litter in the car it was also a 40 pounder so they were very very nice and very...
