ABYSMAL CUSTOMER SERVICE AND MANAGEMENT
First, I love this restaurant. I have been coming here since I first moved to Ormond around 2010-2011. I've had friends work here and still know some people here, so it is unfortunate I have to write such a negative review.
I have NEVER been treated worse by any restaurant staff. Ever.
I ordered 10 medium Wally Wings, wet. The person I was with ordered 10 mild traditional wings with seasoned fries. I usually don't get wings here. When our food was brought out, we were given the wrong plates. Because of that, I believed I had received mild wally wings with seasoned fries instead of medium wally wings with no fries.
Literally all I did was ask the server if she could take them back and correct it. I was polite the entire time and always speak to customer service workers with respect because I myself have worked numerous customer service jobs over the years.
The server then became angry with me and did nothing but speak with condescension in her voice from that moment on - exactly as if someone were speaking to a child. My mouth hit the floor. She then said (paraphrasing) "we'll I'm going to take this plate and switch it with this plate and now the order is correct!" After she did that I said point blank to her "I don't like your attitude." I don't like responding like that, but I will not be disrespected. Then she left and got a manager. If it were just me at this point, I would have walked out and left the restaurant.
So now, the MANAGER comes over. We explain the situation to him and the absolutely atrocious attitude from the server and the belittling way she believes it is appropriate to talk to customers. His first response was to justify the server's actions by saying "Well, we educate our customers whenever something is wrong." EXCUSE ME?! You don't "educate" customers FOR A MISTAKE THE RESTAURANT MADE. He never even apologized.
The manager and I later had a back-and-forth exchange over his use of the word "educate" similar to what I described above.
This situation was clearly a case of a young, bad-mouth, bad-attitude server knowing she can run to a manager who will take her side. Which tells me I am not the first customer that has had this experience. My hope is that you the reader won't either, and that by writing this review management will be more aware of the problem and will actually be able to utilize customer service skills...

NOW, it's an "Irish Bar" but they cook all types of food. They love celebrating... (everything)
My reason for going is the specialized WALLY WINGS
Oh yessss, Wings to die for. After they deep fry them, the GRILL them....WHAT???
They have all types of wings My favorite is "naked flats" No breading, no sauce, no nothing hence... naked
They have amazing food made they way you like it. Service is great, and it's always busy so you will have a wait time BUT, You know the place is awesome when everyone wants to be here..
It's Florida people, wait time is normal because everyone wants to enjoy a good time
Plus, it's a happening place where all locals and tourists want to be
Conservative but fun, Loud but intimate, Dining alone but surrounded by new friends You get the idea
They have a large bar area Seats, counter top, tv outside also.
The restaurant is incredible You make new friends and always have a great time inside and out Here's the REAL reason why I GO....
They have a take out section (You don't have to go in)
I order my "naked" WALLY WINGS (Flats only) from the AMAZING AMBER!!!
I drive up and Amber walks out, says Hello Miss Lyn
I don't know if that's a good or bad thing ESPECIALLY since she knows my name and my order. Uh-Oh

Read moreOk place. The Houligan's off US1 is 100% better. This Houligan's has ok service and food. The hostess was a young lady that made even a funeral parlor look like a fun place. You could tell she didn't not care about the customers and did not want to be there. She tried to seat us at a booth with dirty seats. We stood there for a moment and she asked was there a problem. Anyone with half a brain could see the food on the cushion. I advised her the seat was dirty and she looked at me blankly. I knew she didn't have a clue and told her to find another booth for us.
Now we are seated and our waiter comes over to start the meal service. He was ok, but forgot to bring out our soup, top off our drinks and finally, when he cleared the table at the end of the meal he dropped some silverware. He left it there and dropped off the dirty plates in the back. He returned 3 times to assist the table behind us, leaving the silverware on the floor and us sitting there waiting for our check.
Finally, we pay and leave. On the way out, our favorite hostess was standing there semi cleaning the hostess desk. No thank you, have a good night or even open the door for us.
From now on, we will travel a little further and patronize the US1 location. It's better all...
