Starbucks — Restaurant in Ormond Beach

Yesterday around 6:00 pm I had a very bad experience at this Starbucks drive tru T West Granada Blvd Ormond beach .I order a drink vanilla bean with caramel on it . Because my English is not good I didn’t understand what mean drissel so I said with sirope please I also order a pink drink and ham and cheese croissant when I will pay I noticed the drink didn’t have the caramel so the cashier male said I did mistake order it with sirope I said yes I did sorry I didn’t understand drisssel meaning can you do it again in the right way ? They give me the drink with a ton of caramel on it very gross but anyway I left the place . I tasted it was a caramel Bomb mean they never make a new drink they give me the first one with sirope and the add a lot of caramel on the top and all around . I come back to the window and a young girl said I must go back to the speaker to talk to them their politics said nobody can talk at the window to claim anything they cover their back pretty well but the first thing they asked at cashier if you give them a tip? , I did I went back to the speaker area and apologized again because my lenguaje problem but seems they did nothing to help me but they did a very horrible drink for me instead very rude and unfair . I order them a normal drink with no caramel vanilla bean . I went to the register the young girl give me the drink and the male cashier show up and said hey apologize!!! I said no way to apologize you did this on purpose to a Latina you will Never do this to an American . I bring them Back the horrible drink they prepared to me and the young girl again said I can’t leave anything at the window . I said well this is garbage please place it in the garage disposal I leave it there . few points to consider: 1- I feel discriminated because of my lenguaje my disability to express myself right . 2- I feel they focus in charge a drink and they ask you to Tip them after but if you have a problem with your drink they treat you very bad more if you didn’t give them the tip . 3- I called to talk to the manager their phone line is not working so my husband who is American called the East Granada Blvd Starbucks to talked to someone about this they give us the manager name . Update on 6/20/2023: Placed an order at 807 and was still waiting after 831 for one Chai Latte so I had to leave without my drink as I had to be at work. I noticed that several customers who came in after me that ordered at the counter got their orders well before me. Another customer that went up to counter complained and got hers right away while I sat there watching her complain and then get served promptly while I waited without complaining. I ended up being late for work. If you plan on picking up quickly with app prior to work then think again because there is no guarantee it will be ready any time soon. So disappointed, as I have grown used to getting the refreshers before work.

Their pink drink has also become quite awful in the past month. So much so that the all the ladies at my office that used to get it at work have stopped coming to this location. Would advise going to other location down Granada as I have had no issues there. Closer to the beach and much better quality of drinks and service. Especially for the pink drink. :)

Waited nearly 45 minutes because they missed portion of my order. Once I made them aware waited another 15 minutes as they filled other orders that came in after me until they got to mine. Then not even so much as an apology. They just put cup on counter and did not even make eye contact. Lost my entire lunch break standing in line watching others...

Since I have moved into this area every single time. I come to this Starbucks location and that would be for nearly one year. This location does not have their act together. I was told that they're trying to get good management in here and this is a prime location for Starbucks, a very, very prime location for Starbucks. I cannot believe that they still after nearly a year. Every single time I come in here it is the longest wait and employees always look like they're very overwhelmed at work here. I cannot believe that Starbucks does not do something better about this location and fix it permanently. The bathrooms are coed bathrooms. So if you're going to have coed bathrooms, which I think is crap, then you should have toilet seat covers in the bathroom at all times. The look on customer faces every time I come in here and wait is just devastating. Every single person waiting is rolling their eyes and frustrated. It's just awful that you are allowing this store to be this way. The starbucks on east granada, right at the beach is the best...
