3rd UPDATE: Well, I think I give up on this location. My first review wasn’t great because they weren’t filling drinks to where they were supposed to. They redeemed themselves in the second part of my review and today everything that could go wrong did go wrong…
I went around a van that was just sitting and didn’t seem to be waiting to get into the drive-through. Well, apparently, I cut that person off, and they weren’t thrilled with me and were tailgating. I felt bad because it wasn’t my intention so when I got to the window after placing my order, I asked if I could pay for the car behind me. So first I had to pay for my order which I did with five dollars cash I ordered two Mc doubles. I paid separately for the other person‘s order. I was hoping they would have my sandwiches ready so I could just grab them and go and not have any interaction with the car behind me. Well, wouldn’t you know it? They had no record of my order so they were going to have to redo it and me and told me to go park and wait. I was totally thrilled when they brought my order out quickly so I tossed it in the passenger seat and drove home to eat my lunch. Well, the person that I tried to bless today probably ended up with my Mc doubles and I got both of his quarter pounders with cheese and large fry! I didn’t get what I ordered and neither did he. How hard is it to get this right with as much as they’re paying workers these days the lack of quality quality assurance is disturbing. I have the receipt to show what they gave me and I’m sure the guy I cut off is now doubly pissed because he got way smaller burgers. Not returning to this location.
UPDATE* I decided to go back to this location several days after I left my first review. I will say this location redeemed itself. There is a different crew working that day. I ordered the same thing I ordered in my initial review. They have redeemed themselves. My drink was filled to the top with fresh looking ice. Fries were hot and texture expected. The only negative thing I can say about this last visit is that they put my fries in the bag upside down so they all fell out and were at the bottom.
I’ve been going to this location for many years. I’ve never had any issues with service until yesterday. I drove through and ordered a meal to share with my husband. When I got to the first window to pay, I used my debit card. The young woman at the window looked less than thrilled to be there, and stared at me after she handed my card back. I had to remind her to give me my receipt. When I got up to the next window to get my food, a young woman handed me my drink which looked like someone had taken a few sips out of it. Has McDonald’s started to set their machines to fill their soda cups 3/4 full? Even the ice looked melted like it had been sitting for a while. The food was average. The fries were not piping hot and cooked to perfection. Average meal for an inflated price. I guess this is a good reminder of why it’s better to make a burger at home and fill your own drink cups. Read moreThe fries were on top of the bag and they were cold when they handed it to me but I could tell the manager was stressed out. Answering phones, doing refund after refund and trying to help his crew who were very clearly goofing off. I could hear them complain about how much food I ordered which is funny cause they made nothing fresh. I didnt say anything when I was there because I just wanted to get out of there and figured some cold fries was not a big deal.
Well when I got home the burgers were completely unacceptable. They were flattened and a mess. Everyone was hungry and just are (except the $20 worth of fries because they were too soggy) I took mine back and when I got to the counter I literally got no acknowledgement even after saying excuse me twice. The employees were exchanging laughs as they watches their phones. It was the manager who noticed me from way in the back and came running. He remade my meal and apologized. The manager was not wearing a name tag but he was a nice young man with blonde hair and glasses. He was the only one working. Even as I walked out I could hear the others laughing loudly. I understand they were probably high-school age but the lack of professionalism at their place of employment was disrespectful and I feel bad for that manager. I spent $55 and had to make 2 trips on a night that I needed something quick and easy to feed hungry kids after a long day. I will no go back to that location. I appreciate the manager...
Read moreCan’t get much worse! Avoid this McDonald’s if at all possible! Drive through is slow and often get your orders wrong. I’ve come home to find missing items, wrong items, or cold, burnt, or otherwise inedible food.
The inside is no better. Often dirty, slippery greasy floors, filled with flies.
On this visit I decided to avoid the drive through and went inside. What a mistake! They only have 2 kiosks and both were broken. They only have one register. Naturally the guy in front of me was ordering, then changing his mind, then adding stuff after he had already paid. I had to wait for him to finally finish. I ordered my McDouble and a large Coke to eat in. It took 15 minutes to get my McDouble while people who came after me were getting their orders. What is more basic and easy to make than a McDouble???
The attitude of the employees is one of unconcern for the guest and the food. I open up the wrapper on my McDouble and it looks like it was just thrown together. Catchup all over the top bun, cheese only have way on the patties, and cold meat patties. Absolutely disgusting!
This is not a one off. It’s been this way for at least a year and a half. This place has the worst management team ever!
This is truly the WORST McDonald’s in the Metro Tucson area!
Unfortunately, it’s the only fast food close to my house. But I think I’ll avoid this place and drive further to get better food and better service.
