This place has gotten to be ridiculous, I was OK with the crazy prices for questionable meat products because of it being fast. But if I have to sit and wait for an additional 20 minutes every time I place a mobile order it defeats the purpose of fast food. This location needs to get it together! Edit to add dares and times of my recent orders that had issues. 5/12 8:44pm- ordered food a strawberry shake, and straw. Shortcake mcflurry. Got there and there was a vanilla shake sitting waiting, didn't bother looking at it since I didn't order one. Sat down checked phone and it said preparing your order. Waited another 20 minutes while standing by the counter for someone to finally ask if I needed something. Yeah my food would be nice. I was told we don't have any strawberry shakes so there's your vanilla shake (pointing to the one that's melted by this point.) And we are out of the strawberry Mcflurry, do you want oreo or m and ms. Now I'm not new I know all about the ice cream problems with mcdonalds so I wrote it off, we rarely eat here in the winter as is.
5/23-9:25 pm Ordered cheeseburger and nuggets on the app ahead of leaving the house again got there and the inside is empty aside 3 people in the lobby eating, checked in and sat down got to overhear everyone in the back yelling at each other over someone's screw up I tuned it out proceeded to wait until 9:55 until I got my food that was barely warm. And yes I asked about it in that time to an employee.
There's been several more times in the last few weeks but it won't be happening again for awhile tired of wasting the money and time it's no longer convenient...
Read moreI visited the McDonald's on North Main Street today and unfortunately had a disappointing experience that could have been easily improved with better management.
Right from the start, the staff kept their heads down and avoided making eye contact when a backlog of dine-in orders started piling up. Rather than proactively managing the situation, they hoped the issue would resolve itself. After waiting 15 minutes and realizing my latte order was stalled behind a number of other orders waiting for the kitchen, I decided to seek help myself. The staff I approached were apologetic but passive, offering no solutions for expediting orders.
Clearly, there were not enough staff assigned to handle the influx of dine-in customers. The kitchen staff seemed overwhelmed trying to keep up with drive-thru and front-counter pick-up orders and dine-in. Management needs to be more hands-on in monitoring the restaurant flow and adjusting staff positions accordingly to prevent order backlogs. They should also empower staff to take initiative in resolving customer issues rather than avoiding disappointed customers.
I hope management takes this feedback to heart and makes some changes. With some improved organization and customer service training, this McDonald's has the potential to be a great place to grab a quick meal or coffee. As it stands now, the frustration outweighs the...

UPDATE: After my initial disappointing experience, I was contacted by Ashley K., a Customer Service Specialist from TomTreyco McDonald's, who addressed my concerns promptly and professionally. They apologized for the incident, assured me my feedback was documented, and informed me that the general and district managers have been notified.
While the experience that night was frustrating—being locked outside and served burnt nuggets—I appreciate the effort taken to resolve the issue and their commitment to improving. The Saga continues. Waited 25 minutes for a huge bag of the wrong food. Literally ordered 2 drinks and 2 sandwiches with a fry. Employees are in a rough position but also could be less...rude? Incompetent? Screaming and yelling at each other. On their phones ignoring other customers. Is the pay bad or what's going on here especially on the weekends?
