It was ok. Food appearance not like the pictures. if you want a single burger or single cheese burger it's not showing on the price board on the wall, so you'll need to ask for it. The price I paid for a double papa burger. Which by the way she said I could change to a single papa burger and I stated " yes I want it single.". Well, Still charged for the double and I got the double.
It was the size of a McDonalds single, and that is No exaggeration. Fries were good. But the burger was more like smash burger.
The root beer was at the fountain it might have been, fresh the tap was broke so I don't know. It tasted good i would have liked it in a frosted mug but, she didn't offer.
Would have been a good opportunity to suggestive sell. She didn't seem very happy to be there and came across a bit like " I really don't want to be here." I dunno. They could have been short handed. I should have ordered a gallon of fresh made root beer. It was reasonably priced.
Might want to pay more attention to the tables. The flip menus on tables and the s &p shakers as well as any condiment bottle.
These items seriously need wiped with bleach cloth or antibacterial cloth as these items were dirty. Smudged finger prints and greasy all over them. Kinda gross. Id was the flip menus in hot soapy water scrubbing each page they need it. I would have given anything to have has several antibacterial wipes.
I'm not trying to be mean I'm trying to give constructive criticism as that is always good
Attention to the detail. Is so important and Makes...
Read moreI’m usually not one who craves fast(ish) food burgers, but have to admit that I’m a weekly visitor and crave a double Papa Burger with cheese and bacon.
Not wild about their fries - I’d really rather have steak fries or tater tots than shoestring fries - but I’m guessing that choice is something that might be made for them. That’s not a deal breaker though, as they’ve got a meal deal that includes onion rings (which I do like - and they do a good job of preparing).
They’ve also got deep fried pickle chips which are pretty good, and a deep fried onion that’s very much like Outback Steak House. (The onion I got when I ordered it was a large size.) Either if these are great too.
And let’s not forget the star of the trip... root beer! Honestly I can’t imagine a trip to A&W without getting it. My advice on this - if your body can handle non-diet soda (i.e. you aren’t diabetic or have other issues), skip the diet root beer in the fountain and go straight for the regular root beer out of their tap. Oh - and if you’re dining in - ask them for a frosted mug to use. It makes the experience that...
Read moreI came out Friday August 15 to give this another try and was completely disappointed yet AGAIN . I have not been there in about 2 years because I moved to Pennsylvania . They changed their fish dinner to some little tiny cod pieces That was a huge downgrade from those nice large pieces of fish you used to have a few years ago . . Not even cooked well and had terrible flavor . Absolutely GROSS . Not worth the money . Luke warm fires and cold cheese curds . For me it was 17.00 and some change . I could’ve got way better food at a restaurant for that. And to top it all off, it was extremely hot in there like their air conditioning wasn’t even working. Well, I will say this I will never ever go back there again. That’s the last straw. You deserve zero stars, but in order to leave the review, I have to...
