Went in on a Thursday night with 3 other tables there when we arrived. (In other words, not busy.) When our server eventually made it to the table, he asked what we wanted without bothering to mention any specials, which we only knew about because the other table was talking about them. We proceeded to get our meal and it was the first time I've ever seen my husband send something back. The flatiron steak was raw and literally cold in the middle. (I had the same meal and my mine was cooked medium rare as I asked, in the interest of fairness. The meat itself was tough.) The server returned to our table after we asked the runner to warm up the raw steak and said "So somebody doesn't like their food?" No, more like somebody doesn't want to end up with food poisoning, thanks. The vegetables were like the steamed frozen vegetables you got in the school cafeteria. In all honesty, the best thing I had was here blue cheese dressing. This place and it's decor reminded me of going to the Beefcarver with my Nana. It's one of the only games in town but I'd still recommend...

Well, I'm certainly not coming back by my own choice. I will say, the food is pretty good, they have some really good fries and the sandwich I got was above average. The atmosphere and service though was not what I wanted from a restaurant. The employees were too familiar with us to the point that I felt uncomfortable, though I assume it's just out of a misguided attempt to be overly friendly. When we came for lunch, the place was completely empty and we were the only diners. This combined with the complete lack of any music or ambiance left me feeling reticent to talk and it creeped me out. That was not helped by the eventual addition of Victorian style music playing from right behind us. Overall, the food was good, but the place creeped me the hell out. I thought someone was going to walk out of the backroom with an axe for half the experience. I wouldn't go again, but it would probably be better during a...

It was good, fine enough. I ordered the lake Perch and my wife got the steak. The steak was delicious, but a little over done. I got the special soup they have, I forget the name, but it's bean soup mixed with cheese soup, it's really good, I like it a lot. My wife got the lobster bisque which was also excellent, but a little rich to eat a whole bowl of so I'm glad we got a cup.

My Perch was overcooked, just a bit too dry and flavorless. The decor is very dated, and the hairdo of our waitress was interesting to say the least. Also it was a bit overpriced for what it is I think. Is it good? Yeah. Is it 5 star good like it's priced? In my opinion, not quite. I'd still come again, it's good don't get me wrong, but it's not what I expected and I think they could do with some updating of the building, and reworking the...

The key lime cheesecake they were serving at the time was to die for! It was so good! I had the small portion salmon dinner and it was the perfect portion for me. The breaded salmon was cooked to perfection. I had room for dessert. LoL Tait’s is located right in town, making the location quite convenient. There’s plenty of parking available. The server was friendly and knew the menu very well. The owner came out and greeted all the guests at each table. We called dibs on the last piece of chocolate mint cheesecake and the owner set the cake aside for us until we were ready for dessert. This is a restaurant I would definitely visit again and recommend to friends.

🥳Had an amazing New Years Eve Dinner at Tait's Bill of Fare. Just perfect 😘🤌. Highlights (they were hard to narrow down tbh): The welcoming ambiance created with the gorgeous tree and warmth in the dining room, the sweet butter melting on crusty bread, the swift and friendly smiles of the smooth staff, and I'm not forgetting the sinfully captivating butterscotch cheesecake at the end of a delicious and fulfilling meal. Above all that was given tonight, the most precious is that feeling you get being a part of a small community in a cozy meeting place. A home away from home. This is now our tradition. Spectacular night Tait's! Bravo! 👏
