I ordered for dinner for my girlfriend and I. My girlfriend ordered the house mac add buffalo sauce for delivery. The first time it got here it was the completely wrong order. I called and the manager answered, she was very short with me acting inconvenienced I called but they said theyd send out a new one. 45 minutes later the new order got here with a $5 coupon. Again it was completely wrong. The order had chicken again even though we just ordered a house mac (my girlfriend is also vegetarian so she couldnt eat it). We called again, just wanting our food remade correct. This time a different employee answered (she said her parents are the owners) and was extremely apologetic. She said they had a large carryout order which got hecetic and that she personally made the order wrong. Not a huge deal, we just wanted our food make right so we could eat dinner. She even said that she would refund the order for all the inconvenience which was very nice. This time the food arrived there was no chicken but it was just all buffalo sauce, im not over exaggerating when I say it was inedible (and again not what we ordered.) With the order they did send a $20 coupon. At this point since the food was refunded we decided to just go somewhere else. Well today I noticed the charge went through on my card, no big deal I'll just call. I called and was spoke to the owner again who was beyond rude. They said "Are you the guy that always gets their food refunded?" I was shocked. I recently had a order made incorrectly and called simply just to have it remade, not even a refund. My girlfriend has ordered the same exact thing for years since they opened, and up until the past two times it was made wrong. Im never one to ask for a refund, if something is wrong I always just ask to have it remade. After a 2 hour ordeal of not getting what ordered 3 times though I do believe a refund was fair. The manager said to me "well we gave you coupons." Never once did they say the coupons were instead of a refund and quite honestly I have no intention of returning after being treated like that (and after being told verbaitm Id receive a refund from an employee). I was with the receptionist when she placed our order, food arrived on time and we were all very excited, with one exception, one of the pizzas was incorrect. I called to have the issue resolved however the "Manager" stated that she took the order and it was the receptionist ordered it the way we received it. I informed her that I was right next to the receptionist when she placed the order and heard her and that the order was incorrect. The manager then stated that she read back the order as we received it and the receptionist confirmed with her. She then laughed and apologized for the wrong pizza and asked if I would like to order a chicken bacon ranch. I told her that we would not pay for another pizza that we wanted in the first place. She said that we could order one but she would not correct the mistake.
I was very upset, I thanked her for her time and hung up on her.....about 20 minutes later my faith in humanity was restored by the Manager and the correct pizza was delivered. It's great to know that customer service is still a huge focus for a local business. Thanks to that Manager I will be calling the owner of the store tomorrow to let them know how...
Read more10/10 would recommend ZaRoni's Pizza in Oshkosh. ZaRoni's catered my June 12, 2021 wedding, and it was the perfect choice! My husband and I are both pizza lovers (and honestly, if you're not a pizza lover... you're just wrong), so we knew we wanted to incorporate that into our special day. We were so excited to support a local business in the process, so it was a win-win all around! Our guests couldn't stop talking about the amazing pizza, mac and cheese and sides that we served for the wedding. Not only was it an amazing conversation starter, but the food itself was so delicious! On top of the amazing food, the staff at ZaRoni's is unbeatable. As a bride, I had many logistical questions about service, and each time the staff was understanding, patient and super helpful. They provided an amazing taste-test for us, worked with us via email and phone, and always responded promptly. Thank you, ZaRoni's, for being such an integral part of our big day. It was memorable for our guests, but moreover it was memorable for the bride and groom! (We even took some leftovers to our hotel room at the end of the night, and it was amazing heated up!)
