I went for breakfast for work meeting. My meal I basically did not eat. The English muffin was dry and seemed not even toasted. My eggs seemed bad they tasted weird, hash browns under cooked. Felt like they barely had them in the pan or on the grill. My pop was flat and had no flavor. Waitress was more focus on get people in and out we hardly saw her. Seems It is a very popular place, parking situation can be quite tricky if you get there at prime time which we did. Caramel roll I ordered, not sure what it’s made of but it was not the taste of what you would expect. It was huge though. Overall, I was not impressed. One of my co workers had a omelette and said theirs was delicious. At least not all of us went hungry. One photo of the food, because most of food wasn’t even worth showing. The only photo I am sharing is to show you how big the caramel roll was. It was like. A dinner roll dipped in caramel and not even a good dinner roll.

My daughter and I went to Lynde's on a Thursday evening since I've been wanting to try their A.Y.C.E. crableg dinner. We arrived shortly before six and they were pretty busy. Parking lot was filled, had to park on the street. Since it was just the two of us, we only waited about 10 min. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable of menu. I had the crablegs ($30), and you get to choose a soup or salad and your choice of potato (fries, waffle fries, mashed or baked potato). The legs were not quite as big but they weren't overly salty, as you might get at other restaurants. My daughter had the buffalo chicken mac and cheese. Very cheesy and delicious. The food took awhile to get out but it was busy so that's understandable. Bathrooms were clean, that's a plus. Lynde's was a little out of the ways (Osseo) but I'd go back if I'm in the neighborhood. Overall decent first experience.

Lynde's Restaurant and Catering is a great spot for breakfast, even on a busy Sunday. My husband and I visited around noon, and despite the crowd, our wait time was only 10-15 minutes. Once seated, the service was fast, and the food was delicious. I tried the matcha latte, which was an unexpected find on their menu. While it was a bit too milky and could’ve used more matcha, I’m glad I gave it a try. For my meal, I had the corned beef hash with a cup of fruit added for an extra charge (they don’t allow substitutions). My husband enjoyed the French toast and the Charlie Brown Benedict, along with a refreshing orange juice. Everything tasted great, and the bill was about $25 per person, which felt reasonable for the quality and portions. Overall, I’m happy with the experience and would recommend Lynde’s for a good, reasonably priced breakfast.

Part 3 We decided to go back and try Lynde's again after a few random disappointing tries of poor food quality and service not quite up to the normal standard that we loved. This was our favorite place for biscuits and gravy (and other things), but the last time we came, servers were not there normal happy selves, and the gravy was thin and watery. Today, everything seems to be back to normal. Servers were somewhat friendly, and biscuits and gravy were great again. Prices are still higher than our other food places. We may rotate this place back in our dining establishments... we'll see.

Part 2 Menu and Price Change (my visit 3-13-2024) I'm usually happy to see a new menu coming into a restaurant and was eager to see the changes, especially with a place that has such great food! I love their omelets here and started looking at the new menu, and I quickly became very disappointed! To build my favorite Denver Omelet: Base omelet 10.95, onion 1.95, green pepper 1.95, ham 2.25, cheese 2.25 didn't want the hash browns inside but 2.25 (maybe ask for them on the side) (or a side of hash browns for 6.50). Grand total is $21.60 or $25.85 with a side of hash brown instead. I ended up getting a side of biscuits and gravy 7.95, and my wife got an English muffin 2.95 a side of sausage patties (2 in order) 5.95. Two ice teas 7.90 + tax 2.16 and credit card fees .73, the total bill was $24.75 + my tip.

My once or twice a week here has come to an end. The people and food are fantastic... prices just need to be better.

Part 1 This is a must visit place in Maple Grove. I come here enough now that they bring my wife and I our drinks. Everything I've tried has been great! My go-to light breakfast is a side of biscuits and gravy. It comes in a bowl with loads of white gravy and lots of broken up sausage and a large, great tasting biscuit. This is another place that my wife and I split when we order a regular meal. On another visit, I had their club, and it's just what I have been craving. Good amount of meat and a great...

First time eating here, and was greatly disappointed.

Our server, Bridget, was very social... well, with everyone else. Making the rounds picking up babies and giving everyone hugs, seemed better attention could have been given to her tables. After a short wait for a table, and having time to review the menu, we were ready to order when seated. Not having menus in-front of us is usually in indication of that. However, Bridget didn't seem to want to multitask with our table. Drinks first.... 2 waters and a specialty drink from the board. She wasn't familiar with the drink I was ordering and I had to explain it was on the special board. After she went over to review, she then went to the bar and brought us our waters... still not taking our breakfast order. She returned to the special board to study the drink again, then went to make it. I lost hope at that point. A very disappointing drink arrived. But we finally got to place our order. Eggs Benedict and a skillet. Seemed safe. Took a while to arrive, but the restaurant was busy. Understandable. Well... until the food arrived. Only 1 fork on the table. No Bridget in sight. Got up and went to another table to find a fork. Nope.. that table empty too. Still no Bridget in sight. Went to the host and asked if he could track us down a fork. He returned promptly. Finally to the food.... looked good. Cut into the first Egg Benedict.....water came gushing out, sogging everything. Not appetizing at all. The second one was actually good. The 'american fries'... were burnt and cold. Too bad Bridget never bothered to ask how everything was... but then again, she was pretty busy not...

Good food but extremely disappointed. Took mother there for Mother's day brunch. Made reservations for 4 people at noon and specified that we needed a table or a table 1/2 booth as a couple of us that were going to be there are not small people and we don't fit into their cramped booths. I was told when making the reservation that it wouldn't be a problem. 1 of the 4 of us got there early and was seated, when the rest of us arrived we found that he had been seated in a booth and there was no other place to seat us when we complained. Needless to say we stayed instead of walking out. When the server came to the table my mom asked for a menu as she had no intention of going to the buffet due to the cost and what she would be able to eat. We were then informed by our server that she thought that the reservations could only be for the buffet and she didn't think we were going to be able to order off of the menu, I was never told this at the time of making the reservation either and they allowed it the last time we were there for the same occasion but she said she would check. We sat there for another 10 minutes or so without the server even coming back to confirm if it was possible or not so we all proceeded to the buffet. I was so upset that I wasn't even able to enjoy it and it put a damper on the day for the whole group of us. Needless to say we will never go back to Lynde's as there are plenty of restaurants that are much more...
