Subway — Restaurant in Ottumwa

So... This might be one of my good reviews I'm not sure yet. I went in thinking I'd be in and out with ONE sandwich being I just needed a cold cut 6 inch with the bread dug out and just meat and cheese not toasted or heated. People in front of me had 5 or 6 sandwiches each, so of course my kids were getting antsy. I had 3 kids, 4 3 and 2. My son has an undiagnosed disorder at the moment so he was running around, causing havoc and the workers understood fully. The one even said "there's an app you can order online so it goes quicker." Yes, I know, but I'm also trying to get my kids able to be in environments where I shouldn't have to run and eat in the car. That is not fair to me, or my kids. But overall? I love subway. I will continue to eat at subway, they have the freshest food and service is usually...

The girl at the front counter was rude. Idk what anyone did to piss her off but she was short with me, acted like I was a nuisance and also shorted me on steak and cheese, I never get treated like that at the other subway on the north side, it was just her in there and I think she was rude to the family who came in after me because they were in there for a total of like 20 seconds and left without any food. Will not come back, I don’t think is actually gonna do anything in reality but it’s just irritating. How can you expect to get anyone to come back when you act like a spoiled brat? ...

We went there on Saturday the 14th of December 2018 and I quite frankly have not seen anything like it. The whole prep area was dirty all the fresh veggies were all mixed together very sloppy the place again was very dirty. They did not have any flat bread at all. I go to a Subway in Muscatine daily during the week and they know how to run a food establishment. I would not go to the ottumwa site again. I don't normally give bad reviews but I have been here 2 or 3 times the last few months thinking it would be different well it has not...
