I will never order at this location ever again. I am completely scarred from my most recent visit at the Roe location. I was running low on funds and went to Freddy’s to redeem my free burger coupon with a $5 purchase. I made a purchase of $5 and got my free burger and told the cashier I wanted to make two purchases because I also had enough points to get a kids meal for my two children. When I scanned my app to redeem the kids meal, the transaction would not go through and the cashier brought the manager over. She asked me to force close my app then open it again. When I did, it said I had 215 points and I told her that I hadn’t purchased anything. She immediately claims that hackers might’ve stolen my points. What in the world do hackers want with Freddy’s points? Let’s be serious…. I asked was there anything she could do about the situation and she said she literally couldn’t do anything and that I would have to call corporate. I spend so much money at Freddy’s online and in person and this has never been my experience. I usually dine at the belton location and my husband had a similar experience where his app wasn’t working and the Belton Freddy’s took care of it with no problem so the one star I did give the Roe location isn’t for them, it is in fact for Belton because I know the Freddy’s brand doesn’t stand for this kind of treatment. The worst part…when I explained that I didn’t have money to buy my kids a meal and I was relying on those points to feed my children, the manager didn’t care and in fact didn’t not speak to me for the remainder of my visit to see how things were going even though she was walking around emptying trash in food bins. Horrible experience, I don’t care how hungry I am and how much money I have , I will never go back to that...
Read moreWhat happened to this place!? The drive-thru menu is faded and busted, looks like it’s 20 years old. I know that’s not true because I’ve been here in the past decade and they used to look like a modern drive-thru. They removed the meal numbers because some idiot thought that was an idea. I should be happy there’s no line but I’m pretty sure it’s because Freddy’s corporate has to be intentionally tanking the company.
It’s like a C average business major looked at it and said how do we become like a popular chicken joint. Step one put your food in bags. So now you have a burger with 7 ingredients that fell apart in a bag and the bun is soggy. As it turns out your below average business major didn’t realize a chicken sandwich is 3 ingredients with a greaseless breaded exterior. So now I assume your below average fast food exec graduated a regional private college and the apex of their fast food experience was a dying sonic franchise. Bring back the boxes!
Talking about boxes, I now get my cheese curds in a styrofoam container. Because what’s better than cheese curds? Ones with melted plastic in them! Let that soak in, like the eternity its box will survive inside of you.
Honestly the food quality hasn’t gone down, staff was on point. It’s just harder to order, messier to eat, and probably includes more plastic. Well done Freddy’s, you’ve let idiots take over the company and transform it into a dying burger chain.
If you experienced Freddy’s when it was good, don’t go back. If you haven’t, give it a try before they lower standards further and you can talk about the good ole days (all of last year?). What a joke of a company.
If you’re a below average business major, google ‘Freddy’s careers’ for people who will value your...
Read moreI normally do not go to this particular Freddie's as it is not the closest one to my home. We were in the area, and I was looking for a burger. I wish I had just gone a little further to the location I typically go to.
We ordered our food, and we were given our ticket number, and we went to sit down. The restaurant was not at all busy, but we still couldn't find a table to sit down at, as they were all filthy dirty. We found the cleanest table we could, which was right next to the door, and the trashcan that was overflowing with garbage. I don't think they had emptied the trashcans since lunch, and it was now dinner.
About 30 minutes later, which is ridiculous as we were just about the ONLY customers in the store, our number was called. I went to get some of the french fry sauce and some Ketchup for my friend, and they were BOTH empty. We also had to ask for napkins, and sauce, which we finally got about 10 minutes later. By then our food was cold.
My friends chicken sandwich was nasty. There is NO other way to describe it. The lettuce was brown and the tomato was just plain mushy and nasty. Not fresh or tasty at all. My patty melt was amongst the worst I have ever had. One of the patties was only a half of a patty.
We at our food, and got out of there as quick as we could. I like Freddy's, but I will never return to this...
