Imo's Pizza — Restaurant in Overland Park

Hey guys! Don't ever bothering calling this place. You will get what sounds like some guy with low self-esteem answering your questions with a gasp of air after every word. I called to simply ask what their specials were. The guy answers and I quote. "Ugh we don't really run specials.....but if you want I can make one up for you?" I Answer him "really?" With confusion in my word he then quotes me 2 pizza's with one topping for the same price as they are individually. I then hung up and took my Business elsewhere. NOTE TO OWNER. If you are going to continue to hire uneducated, lazy, and non service hearted people I suggest you don't let them answer your phone! Keep their ability to scrubbing dishes and washing floors. This should help with the non judgemental reviews because your help continues to anger your customer before even letting them purchase your product. I KNOW IM NOT THE ONLY PERSON OUT HERE TIRED OF THE WAY BUSINESSES CONTINUE HAVE TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Ps, I wouldn't be shocked if it was the owner or manager that took the call. Seems to be the standard around this area...

Well, still issues with making up their store hours. Still 2 years now , blaming short staffed , employees don't recognize regulars, are often short with customers, not very friendly, and always stressed. I've tried 3 x now to bring guests to try Imos and either not delivering (short staffed) or walked in way before closing and told oh we are not open. Sad ,I keep trying and order the same thing and still very frustrating. Someone surely can open another one , bigger, cleaner, and up to date? I grew up with Imos in St.louis and Columbia and man,it's a shame. But it is what it is. I wish they would not take advantage of the name and actually step it up That said,I will still get my usual and I will still get asked my name everytime and shorted on pepperoni and olives. I just can't stop loving Imos food . FOR GOODNESS SAKES YOUR A PIZZA PLACE OPEN TIL MID ON WEEKENDS THERE ARE HUGE PIZZA PLACES COMING AND ARE OPEN ALL HOURS. ID UP YOUR GAME SOON OP IS CHANGING AND 8 PM AND 930? BEST TAKE A LOOK AROUND LOTS OF NEW PEOPLE AND YOUNG ARE MOVING HERE....

First things first....Imo's Pizza is fantastic. I've never had a bad experience until coming to this store.

I normally order for a small group, so we order an XL to go around. I started having an issue with receiving cold pizzas. I would pick them up right when the order tracker said they're ready, drive them five minutes home, and end up with a cold pizza. After giving them the benefit of the doubt, I called the store. The franchise owner informed me it was my fault and that "there's no way it could be cold coming from a 500° oven". We ended up reheating it and ate out glorified grocery store pizza for dinner.

A couple of months later, we ordered and received an extremely burnt pizza. I called the store and was informed there was not enough time to remake it as they were closing. My only other option was to be credited a fraction of the pizza's cost.

Not only are these owners extremely cheap, and rude, they're also not willing to take the blame for their shortcomings....
