Have been a long time customer of Minsky's Pizza and on December 26, 2022, ordered a large pizza from the location at 127th and Metcalf. I was told that the pizza would be ready in 45 minutes. I arrived after the specified time and went inside to pay and pick up my pizza. The attendant took my payment and I left a tip, but was told that they were 'backed up' and it would be another 20-30 minutes. I returned to my vehicle and waited an additional 30 minutes. I returned to the restaurant and was told the pizza would be right out. After waiting for another 20 minutes I again asked if my pizza was ready. The server went back to the kitchen to check and he returned to tell me that the order "fell through the cracks" and they would rush the pizza. I immediately asked for a refund, to which the manager came and asked, "you want a refund". I stated yes I do, you forgot to make my pizza that I already paid for. He stated, "we didn't forget to make it". I promptly said, please just refund me for what I did not get and I'd also like the tip I left refunded as well. He told me that they were just so busy and it was a bad Monday. He DID NOT offer anything to keep me as a customer and simply returned my payment. I told him that he has lost a long-time customer. I am not sure what is wrong these days, but customer service is in the dumps. Customers are at the mercy of the supplier and it seems the suppliers just don't care! Read moreVery horrible service celebration of my daughter's 3rd birthday and the waitress we had was very nice at the beginning long story short it was our first time eating at Minksy Pizza so she brought us out the bill and we noticed the tip was included in the total so we questioned her very respectfully can you explain to us why is it included in the total instead of us just tipping what we want to tip she explained very rude that it says here on our menu that the tip is included in your bill so before we could even say anything else she stormed off and slung open the kitchen door and went in the kitchen started ranting about us came out went to the back and assistant manager came over there after 10 min or so and totally took her side really didn't wanna hear what we had to say and we tried to explain to her that we were just going to pay the bill and everything is fine we don't mind tipping and the assistant manager basically told us well that's our policy and the waitress came back out and tries to lie and say we were basically saying that we didn't want to tip her and we had bad service..BUT SHE NEVER GAVE US A CHANCE TO LET HER KNOW THAT WE DIDN'T MIND PAYING THE BILL..GM finally came over and apologized for her behaviour and basically was telling us what we wanted to hear..Never will I go to Minksy Pizza again especially the location off of Metcalf..the waitress name was...
Read moreI am writing to express my disappointment with my recent dining experience on Moday, May 26th. As this was my first visit, I had high expectations; unfortunately, several aspects of the service and food quality did not meet these expectations.
Upon arrival, my party and I were seated promptly. However, we were not informed that orders were to be placed via the kiosk. After waiting for approximately 30 minutes, we inquired with our server, who then submitted our order. An additional 10 minutes passed before we received our loaded fries, only to find they were missing cheese. The server informed us that the kitchen had run out of cheese, a detail that had not been communicated to us earlier. While the charge for the fries was removed from our bill, it was concerning that the incomplete dish was still served.
Approximately 15 minutes later, our pizzas arrived. Despite being simple pepperoni pizzas, they were small and, unfortunately, undercooked. The dough was overly soft, indicating it had not been cooked thoroughly. At this point, we chose to pay for our meal and leave, opting to dine elsewhere.
This experience was far from the standard I anticipated. I hope you will consider this feedback to improve both communication and food...
