Moe's Southwest Grill — Restaurant in Oviedo

I want to start by saying I try not to write bad reviews, and this used to be one of my favorite Moe's locations. We went into Moe's on 7/28, around 4PM. There were three employees present, and two of them stayed in the back room while one was running everything up front. The young man serving us was very nice. We got our food and went to sit down.

There were dirty tables and food on the floor. As we started to eat, I watched the young man doing all the work. He kept the same gloves on throughout the following activities: Getting a drink and drinking it, wiping his mouth after, wiping his face under his eyeglasses, using the broom and dustpan, cleaning tables, putting things in the trash, and returning to make food for a young lady who came in. We were so disgusted, we ended up not eating our food and left.

Due to the fact that someone could get really sick from this sort of action, I tried calling the Moe's corporate number, and it goes to a message. I pushed "1" to have someone call me back, which has yet to happen. Having taught ServSafe, it became clear that this location either does not educate their staff on foodborne pathogens or...

We didn’t realize there was a Moe’s here, which is a favorite of mine. We stopped in this afternoon, to first realize that the AC is clearly broken and it’s almost warmer inside than outside. Almost nobody inside. Two workers are working fast on mobile orders and didn’t look up to greet us for a couple of minutes. I get this is the new normal at some places, but still frustrating. Got our food, which was somehow $41 for two people, probably because of the forced tip. Then, of course the soda machine has no ice. They did fill our cups with ice for us, but the soda itself also isn’t cold. The cherry on top: first bite into my burrito, there’s a hair staring me in the face after the first bite. Like a complete weirdo, I kept eating around it, but it still tasted awful. I could make a better one at home. We ended up throwing out the food and leaving. Don’t waste your time. I’ll go to Chipotle or Cava instead. We ended up going to Home Depot to get a hot dog...

Came in on national burrito day and ordered 5 burritos and 3 bowls for dine in. Shortly after I started the first burrito, a line began to form behind me. Just our luck.

The server who was attending us to start with was not friendly and did not seem to be attentive to the order in front of her. She even walked away from our order at one point and left us waiting.

I almost did not want to continue but luckily Bella and Oscar came to the rescue. They are some of the most dedicated workers I've had the pleasure to interact with. They are patient, attentive and most of all friendly, even in the face of pressure. I have interacted with them before and every time they have given me the best service around. I bring everyone to this moes just because they make it worth the while.
