We came here with some friends one evening to compare this place to a Mission BBQ we went to in Fort Myers. The one in Fort Myers was very unimpressive, and we were hoping that this would be a big turnaround for us.

The theme and decor of the place is absolutely great. It's a true celebration and honoring of every possible career in which men and women risk their lives for us civilians. Military, police, firefighters, I think I saw EMT's in there. Pictures and patches and banners plaster every square inch of the walls and the booths. It was really something. Something I like.

We order our food. I get the pulled pork and the jalapeno & chz sausage for my meats, and I add Maggie's Mac-N-Cheese and a seasonal sweet (bread pudding). My girlfriend got the brisket and also the Maggie's Mac-N-Cheese. We both got cornbread, which had a little sweetness to it, which I like, but no major chunks of corn, which I would have preferred.

They also offered an upgrade cup for your drink. It's like $2 more, but that $2 goes to a local nonprofit organization. And you can bring the cup back and refill it for only $0.99. Sign me up.

So the mac-n-cheese was very highly recommended by the staff. So much so that we both got it. That never happens, but I'm glad it happened this time. The noodles, the cheese, and the crunchy stuff on top were all top notch. I'm gonna get this again. The bread pudding was fine. It was no 4 Rivers, but I liked it. I'll probably try the beans instead next time.

As for the meats, the brisket was solid. It was moist and juicy and it melted in your mouth. The pulled pork was awesome. Not too fatty. And, surprisingly the best meat was the sausage. It had some heat, nicely sized chunks of cheddar cheese, and a snap from the casing that was so delightful. I'm gonna get this every time.

One of the main things that caught my attention was the variety of barbecue sauces they offered. There are six on every table for you to sample from different states across the country. From smokey to sweet to heat, they have one that will satisfy everyone, I'm sure.

Overall, I really enjoyed this place. This location was much better than the one in Fort Myers. If I need barbecue, and I want to stay in...

Growing up in the south BBQ is a staple. First impression just walking up the sidewalk and passing the firewood rack loaded to the top, sets the mood that this place knows BBQ. The dining area is spacious, well lit and accommodating. The greeting from all the front counter staff was warm and welcoming. The theme and decor is interesting, and tells a story. I opted for pulled pork, jalapeño and cheese sausage, and smoked ribeye (really glad I did), and beans. The pork was great, I was really impressed by sausage, actual pieces of jalapeño and cheese (instead of just a jalapeño and cheese flavor). The same goes for the steak since I usually don’t get (or even have the option for steak at a bbq joint.) When it comes to sauces, there were at least 10 each one as good if not better than the previous. My top 3 are Smoky Mountain, Tupelo Honey Heat, and Memphis Belle. What I liked most is that it isn’t just 10 sauces...for the sake of having 10 sauces, each one has a unique and individual profile. The sweet tea is some of the best I’ve had that wasn’t made by my grandma. The presentation, quality of the food, and service made me feel like this was opening day and I was an executive or shareholder. It really was that good. Key points: this is my new, hands down, undisputed favorite BBQ spot. I would rather drive by 5 other BBQ joints and spend a few dollars more for this level of quality. If you haven’t tried it yet...there’s a reason it’s so highly reviewed. I would go so far as to say make...

Food was very good and the service was extremely attentive. Three of us went there for dinner around 7 at night during the week. The dinner rush was over so the place was not packed. One employee met us at the door to discuss their options, point out the menus, and share some of her personal favorites. There was one person that was monitoring diners and making sure they had everything they needed throughout their meals. I had the moist brisket and enjoyed it but those that don't care for the fat that makes it moist, you may want to opt for the dry version. My dinner guests had an array of food that they enjoyed as well. I've read the reviews and talked to friends who have been here and agree that it's a wonderful place to go to eat but it is definitely a fast food style restaurant. You order your food at the counter and pick it up a little further down the line so don't plan on a sit-down meal with full service. As aforementioned the food is good yet don't expect the best quality barbecue you have ever had. That's not to take away from it but rather put it into perspective. Many people have raved about the Alabama white sauce. I find that often people rave about things that are unique to them or that they are trying for the very first time. I found it a little unbalanced. Too much vinegar for my liking. It was the prevailing flavor. That notwithstanding the six pack selection of sauces at your table are fun to experiment with. We...

As a veteran, I can't begin to explain to you not only how good the food is or how good the service is because unless you get to experience it, you will never understand. I would in there with my wife to have lunch, and I felt more at home there than anywhere I've ever been. There was a woman walking around in there just trying to make veterans feel comfortable and appreciated, there was another woman in there that gave me a folded flag pin that brought me to tears. I'm a 67-year-old man, I couldn't tell you the last time I cried but they had me crying like a little baby. It was an emotional experience I didn't think I'd ever feel. And the food without fail, is probably the best I've ever eaten. Sorry Mom, I hate to say that out loud or post it to the internet but it's the truth. Their peach cobbler I don't have the words to explain how good that was the brownie was amazing The prime rib the Hawaiian prime rib unbelievable hell even the tea was out of this world! I wish the company would take this business into Missouri I would eat there everyday it would probably kill me but I would eat there everyday. I would want to be a part of this company. If I had the money I would buy a franchise and take it to Missouri. What they're doing for the veterans for the police officers for the fireman for the ambulance drivers and EMTs it's an amazing place. You guys have touched my heart and I appreciate you! I'm sorry I got so windy, I usually don't.
