Tasty Mexican Fare and Friendly Service at Habanero Mexican Grill, Oviedo

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Habanero Mexican Grill in Oviedo, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The food was delicious, and the service was friendly, earning the establishment a solid 4-star rating.

The menu at Habanero Mexican Grill offers a great variety of classic Mexican dishes, with something to suit every palate. I was particularly impressed with the freshness and authentic flavors of the food. The tacos were a standout, featuring tender and well-seasoned meat, fresh vegetables, and a flavorful salsa. The portions were generous, ensuring that no one left the table hungry.

In addition to the great food, the service at Habanero Mexican Grill was top-notch. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring that our dining experience was smooth and enjoyable. They were more than happy to answer any questions we had about the menu and offered helpful suggestions on what to try.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was warm and inviting, with tasteful décor and a comfortable seating arrangement. The only minor drawback was that the noise level could get a bit high during peak hours, making conversation slightly challenging. However, this didn't detract too much from the overall dining experience.

As for the pricing, I found it to be reasonable for the quality and quantity of food offered. It wasn't the cheapest option in town, but the delicious flavors and generous portions made it worth the expense.

In conclusion, Habanero Mexican Grill in Oviedo is a fantastic spot for those looking for tasty Mexican cuisine and friendly service. While there's a slight issue with the noise level during busy times, the overall experience is enjoyable and worth a visit. I'm happy to give this restaurant a well-deserved...

I ate there 3-4 times a week with my family and was a loyal and faithful customer. Now I just feel betrayed from a place I went to so much...like a relationship break up. Be WARNED. This is how they will treat you if you stay around.....I've tried everything on the menu. The food is excellent. I don't know how much money I used to spend there per month. But now that's all gone. Sure, it's a great experience in passing or in my limited quantities. But they can't handle regular business. On Wednesdays, I pick up my kids from early school release and take them for a late lunch. School traffic was particularly crowded this day, and I was slower than usual to get to the restaurant, arriving at 2:28 walking in the door. I asked for a lunch menu, which ends at 2:30, said I was late from school traffic, so you know how this story is going to go based on a 1 star review. They refused to serve me lunch and insisted I order from the dinner menu. Both female servers. I knew them. I see them all the time. But they want to squeeze every extra dime they can out of someone who comes in on their slow days (Monday-Wednesdays during the day). They want to haggle over a few minutes because even though I sat down before 2:30, I didn't order until after 2:30 because I was finishing a business phone call.. They were extremely rude and ruined my lunch. I left and now pay a little more but enjoy the atmosphere at Saint Anejo. Too bad Habaneros doesn't treat it's regular customer right.I'd estimate I spent $100 a week there...

Worst dining experience EVER. My wife and I ordered the 2 for 1 margaritas (happy hour). I ordered a regular, my wife ordered the skinny margarita. When we got our bill we were charged for 2 drinks instead of 1. The waiter said it's because the skinny margarita didn't count towards the 2 for 1. The server never mentioned there was any difference in what type of margarita was included in the special. In fact, the menu didn't have prices for the drinks and they were all lumped together in the category "Margaritas". (It turns out the skinny Margarita was about $3 more than the regular margarita). The server kinda hurried me to give him the payment when he brought the check so I gave it to him without checking the bill. After I saw we were overcharged (and the server wouldn't help us), I asked to speak to a manager. Instead, another server came out and told us the manager was too busy, but she could help. We told her our problem and she said she'd check back with us. She never returned. We waited for over 10 minutes. My wife was fuming. Finally another gentleman came by and we told him the issue. He said he'd go talk to the manager. About 2 minutes later our original server came out and handed me $9 without any type of apology or acknowledgement. It was the rudest, most unprofessional service I've ever received at a restaurant. In my many years of dining it's the first time I didn't...

BEWARE! My wife and I have been ordering their Tacos De Carne Asada as a weekly treat for quite a while (through Uber). No complaints at all about these. They were good corn tacos with cilantro and onion like the description says. However, the major issue was when we decided to order this from their website. My parents were in town, and we decided we wanted to treat them to one of our favorites. We all ordered (what we thought) were the same Tacos De Carne Asada we get when we order from UBER. THESE WERE NOT THE SAME!!! What we ended up getting were flour tortillas, no cilantro, no onion, dry AND greasy meat (HOW???) with some containers of pico on the side. When I called to inquire about what we had just received, their response was that it was our fault because the website allows us to select corn or flour. Aside from the fact an incorrect selection doesn't negate the rest of the issues, the website also doesn't have the ability to select corn or flour. Below are the "Expectation vs. Reality" photos. The first is a photo of the "Tacos De Carne Asada" we ordered via Uber. The second is a photo of the "Tacos De Carne Asada" we ordered on their website.

Took the family here to try a new place since we had a fundraising booklet we purchased from our kid's school. The entrance to the place is a little awkward and is very easy to miss (if you do, you'll have to do a U-Turn and try again). Entering, the restaurant feels a bit dark, but I think that's the look they are going for. It has a "homey" feel and has a distinct Mexican feel in it. The menus were a bit dirty, and the waiter rushed us to order. I suspected he was almost done with his shift and wanted to get our order in before he left. Throughout our experience, we were caught in limbo between the change in wait staff. The chips were warm and the salsa was good. Wife ordered the Cancun Salad (minus mushrooms), son ordered the kid's pizza, and I ordered the Burrito Jalisco. All of our food tasted great and it was quickly out of the kitchen. The food was great, the customer service from the first waiter wasn't great at all. However, I decided 4 stars is a fair review overall. I may come back and roll the dice on a better waited experience.

We had very delicious lunch here today. It was close to where we were so we decided to give it a try. It is located in a very unassuming building except for its bright colors. The customers that were eating seemed to have enjoyed their meals and were commenting about needing a nap. After stuffing myself I can see why they felt this way. The interior of the building is decorated in many pastel colors and has authentic Mexican articles decorating the walls. There is even a separate section with a large bar. The menu has many selections for food and drink and there is even a nice selection of vegetarian meals available. I enjoyed my Tacos Paisanos. They were very flavorful and the refried beans with rice was a perfect compliment. My five had the Chicken Fajitas and her portion was so big we needed to get a box to bring the rest home. She informed me that they were very good. For dessert we had a piece of Tres Leches cake that was the perfect and delicious way to end our meal. We really enjoyed our meals and were happy to eat here.
