We have had two bad experiences at this location, both involve a waitress who appears very nice but is either a horrible waitress or is mean with a smile. First experience my husbands plate was brought by slamming the plate on the table as she stormed off among other problems but the manager graciously took care of everything. We weren't looking for out meal to be comped,just didn't think we deserved to be treated so badly. The second experience we waited weeks before returning giving time for any internal problems to get ironed out. WE GOT THE SAME WAITRESS! Yes, she was very nice but wanted us to know she remembered us right off the bat. We should have left but we thought maybe she was just having a bad day last time. NOPE! This experience was just as bad but she maintained a smile. The food was so tough, couldn't even cut the pulled pork with a fork, it was dry and hard. If it wasn't for the sides we would have gotten home hungry. We didn't ask for a manager this time, instead got a takeout box and left. Read moreUsually a fine visit. Today was different. We were there about 1/2 hr before close. The host didn't seam like she wanted us there at all. But we sat anyways. Appetizers arrived about 2 minutes before the main arrived. I was then told I couldn't have any more tea because they were closing soon and didn't want to make more. My wife's baked potato was about 75% raw. Mine was probably 25% raw. My pulled pork was cooked only enough that it shouldn't get me sick. A large portion of it was still under done. I'm pretty sure my okra came from a microwave. We were reminded several times that they were trying to close. As somebody that worked in the service industry most of my life I know that first table or last table, the service should be the same. I don't know when this has stopped being taught. It shouldn't matter if a customer comes in 5 minutes before close, they should see the same service that every other customer has received. That's what service is. Read moreEDIT - UPDATE: Well, I went back in to check out the remodeled RibCrib and gave the Super Spud another go. I was very impressed, the HUGE potato was hot and LOADED with meat, bacon and cheese! Service was fantastic. Posting a picture below. I'll be back 😍😍
Previous: We frequest RibCrib often and usually it's a great experience. Tonight was not typical, nevertheless feel compelled to share and note that when ordering one of their Spuds, ask in advance if the potatoes are fresh. My husband and I after two attempts left to eat dinner somewhere else. We sent our first order back because the potatoes had sat too long and were lukewarm. The second batch was the same, if not worse than the first attempt. (so cold that the butter and cheese wouldn't melt). The manager offered to bring us something else on the house and told us that the good potatoes would be ready in 30 minutes. Guessing the freshly prepared were for dinner and not the 6:00pm eaters?
