Edit: 12/7 - The new owner of Owasso Computer Repair called me personally after I posted my edit yesterday. I can appreciate that he reached out to try to find what happened. I explained what happened, why I was dissatisfied and had lost confidence in his business. He said that the technician who worked on my pc was no longer there. He apologized and I said I would give them another try since they are more convenient. He seemed to genuinely care about my bad experience and I will give them another chance.
Edit: 12/6 - I can't wholeheartedly endorse Owasso Computer Repair with the new owners/management. I will never take anything there again. I have taken my business to Wholesale Computer Supply on 41st St west of I-44. I have used them 3 times and each time they did exactly what I needed done. They were fast and priced reasonably.......
I had a hard drive that had gone bad. I contacted Ed Scott who advised that I should buy an external drive so that he can retrieve my data, which had over 400GB of pictures. Ed took my pc and external drive and was able to extract all of my data and move it to the external drive. Ed ran some tests and confirmed it was the hard drive. I purchased a new hard drive and Ed installed it and copied all the data to the new hard drive. Ed reinstalled Windows 10 along with a few other things and optimized my pc. Ed is a real professional. His prices were unbelievably reasonable and saved me hundreds if I had taken it to some other places. Ed is always available if I run into a problem. You rarely see service like this. I found ED on NextDoor and used him based on the recommendations. If you have a problem, don't hesitate to call Ed. I...

January 2019: Mr Scott worked on my gaming rig, replacing its cooling pump. I'm very pleased with the timeliness of the repair and how thorough he was.
March 2020: Iâd have to agree with another 1 star review and the complaints levied there and only take a very basic pc here for basic issues. My 2.5 yr midrange gaming computer would boot at least when I delivered it to him, now it is in worse condition upon delivery back to me; he managed to save my data but itâs a 1 step forward, 2 steps back scenario. I felt pretty confident in his ability based on the cooling pump work but this time around the task was beyond his scope. He expressed my rig and diagnosing its issues were âmaking him sweatâ which made me very concerned. After speaking to this objectively, the energy and attitude in doing business with this man turned into a very sour experience. He repeated several times as I flatly stated I wanted to pay what was owed and take it elsewhere that he knew what he was doing. Iâm sure he knows what he knows but will it suffice? In my case it did not and he took my right as a client to voice my concerns and made the entire exchange of info and return of my rig into a...
Read moreI have used Owasso Computer Repair (Ed Scott) twice now. The first time was for a laptop that had a Solid State Drive Crash. He was very professional, courteous, prompt, and very reasonably priced. My first experience with Ed was enough to earn my recommendation but my second experience totally knocked it out of the park.
I work from home and my work PC Died. I dropped my PC off at 4:30PM on a Friday afternoon. He diagnosed a bad power supply and I received a call a couple of hours later to let me know and what my options were to proceed. My PC was a 5 or 6 year Dell XPS that had an oddball sized Power supply with non standard connections that would have to be ordered from Dell. I explained that I could not be without the machine too long and Ed suggested that he could get one local that would work with some modifications. I received a call 2 hours later that it was fixed. You will not find that kind of service elsewhere even if the replacement power supply was an perfect (drop in ) fit.
I can not tell you the last time I have taken the time to write a review on anything but I felt compelled to let people know that I highly...
