I made an online order, as I was in store before realizing the subway app had an online discount that was not redeemable in stores. I placed my order quickly to keep the line moving and said the only thing different would be veggies and I would tell them when they were ready. The manager, I am presuming, proceeded to yell at me from the opposite side of the store across all of her coworkers and all of the customers, about how I wasn’t allowed to do that due to covid. I recently had a disappointing experience at the Subway on Oak Avenue. Despite being physically present in the store, it was clear that the staff prioritized online orders over customers waiting in line. I stood patiently, only to be ignored while they focused on preparing orders that were placed ahead of time.
