Wings Tavern & Grille — Restaurant in Owatonna

I’ve never written a review ever in my life. But how terrible the service was deserves one. I sat down at the bar on Saturday night. It was moderately busy, and the bartender, who was a middle aged female with dark hair. I waited patiently as the bartender got drinks for other people. Then she was done and started eating her food behind the bar. Standing right in front of me. I had not been acknowledged yet. So i waited another minute or 2 giving her a chance, yet she just stood in front of me eating. So i kindly asked if i could get a beer. She rolled her eyes, put her food down and asked what i wanted. I asked for a coors light with some olives in it. She pours my beer, then grabs olives with her hands that she had not washed since eating her food, and drops them in my beer. Whatever, maybe she’s having a bad day I’m not gonna make a big deal about it. I asked for a menu which she literally tossed down in front of me. I’m looking at the menu and a guy had ordered a shot of rumplemints shot. That bottle was right in front of me. As she tipped it over to pour the shot, I’d say about half a shot, shot out and went on me, my menu, and on the table. Never said sorry, never gave me a napkin to clean it up for her. Just didn’t even acknowledge. I ordered boneless wings and Parmesan / garlic fries which were great. I grabbed my beer and noticed a fly had landed in my beer and was swimming around. I’m okay with drinking hand dropped olives in my beer, but not a beer with a fly in it. So i wait patiently again to ask for a different beer. Finally i see she’s not doing anything so i say “ hey a fly landed in my beer can i get a new one?” She says “so what”. I was in shock and so confused. I hadn’t done anything but sit down and wait. I was by myself, not loud or obnoxious, i sat quietly and i was polite. This lady was being mean just to be mean it seemed. She poured me another beer and i asked for the check. To whoever that lady is, i hope you’re not that miserable...

I’ve seen some horrible reviews on other sites so it was surprising to see any positive reviews here. The food is terrible and the service is so negative. The waitstaff think they own the place and after talking to the owner I agree they have no real incentive to be nice to customers. Wow bad! A few days earlier I went down n and there was one waitress who was semi friendly Jasmine. But of coarse during peek hours you won’t see her around. I think I’ll try Lava Burgers and wings instead.

The owner replies, “Thanks for letting us know”. I suppose this is slightly better than “can I get you a to go box for your nachos?” Totally...

Have been going here on and off for years. My latest experience was last Saturday night (6/16/18). Went for karaoke, which was fun. The food tasted good, but was not what you'd expect from the description in the menu. For example, the deluxe grilled cheese was not deluxe. It barely had any cheese and the cheese wasn't very melted. Then there was the loaded waffle fries. They are supposed to have cheese and bacon, according to the menu. They had very little of either. Also don’t bother ordering a rum and coke, because it will be so watered down it won’t...
