We had so much fun at the Steele county free fair. There is so much to see and do. It's huge. Bring a stroller and plan to spend hours there. My son loved the petting zoo, animal feed is crazy expensive though. Kids can also ride a pony ($7) or a camel ($10). There are many barns with many different kinds of animals to look at. Multiple buildings with business booths selling very unique products, giving away items, and promoting many things. The midway rides are plentiful. Tons and tons of amazing food vendors. We went twice and we will be back next year. 2022 update: we spent the $55 on the Meg ride pass. We went 4 days which was perfect the 3 year old could ride a few hours until he was tired of it and come back another day....

My favorite food vendors I always enjoy are Aurora Lutheran Church (which offer great meals and pies 😁), DeAnn's (which I have been enjoying their pitas since I was a kid), the sweet corn (which is so very tasty and delicious), kettle corn and getting lemonade and smoothies!
I would recommend this to anyone who wants a day...
