Five Guys — Restaurant in Owensboro

I have always said Five Guys is THE place for burgers and fries (AND hot dogs, AND grilled cheese, AND milkshakes) but I have to say tonight was excellent! Fast and quick, they can almost ALWAYS have your order ready in about ~8-10 minutes and it will be one of the freshest, tastiest burgers you can have! All ingredients are fresh, they tell you where the fries of the day are shipped from (as potatoes, mind you! They chop em up at the restaurant) and they fry them in peanut oil for the healthiest tastiest fries you could ask for! The burgers are always fresh meat, never frozen, and the juicy flavor really tells you that, hands down! One thing I always hear is that they're too expensive, but I always say, only if you're comparing them to McDonalds!!! The biggest, baddest burger costs under 8 dollars, and that's with two patties, lots of gooey fresh cheese, and the crispiest bacon that tastes as fresh as the rest of the burger! Not to mention, ANY topping on their HUGE list of toppings comes with the price of the burger, so, LOAD IT UP!!! Thanks for always being awesome...

First time visitor since they opened about a week ago. A little confused on which entrance I was to use. I felt the most obvious was not the best choice. I had to walk past several tables of people eating to get to the front counter to order. I think the door on the left would work better as entrance. Service was awesome. I told the young lady it was my first visit and she was very polite and helpful. Received my food very quickly. Ordered the double cheeseburger, wow, that's was a lot of burger...delicious and juicy! I ordered a "small" fries and shocked with the amount I received.....could only eat a quarter of them, that's why I ordered a small. Hate to waste food! All in all, good burger joint with friendly staff!...

this is my second time coming into this location an waiting almost 20 minutes for my food! also this is my second time coming into and finding grey hair in my food. i let the only lady with grey hair know an she had a attitude about having to remake my burger! also heard the 3 women whispering about me and laughing! i went into the store 12/ 9. the store was also very dirty! tables weren’t cleaned food and ketchup all over the counter!! horrible experience! and the manager with grey hair was very rude! she should maybe find a different job!! won’t be back while the white an grey hair lady is still here! do better!!!!...
