I ordered a steak burrito with Mexican rice, jalapenos, pinto beans, onion, green pepper, and queso. The steak is in some sort of sauce which you can tell the steak is low quality due to texture, taste and well.. You can see it. Its horrible for still having to pay a steak price. Green peppers are about half and inch thick so lazily chopped instead of about an 1/8 thick so it isn't overpowering. Also if youre looking for just the strong green pepper taste too bad. Salsaritas has decided to mix their sweet red peppers with green so too bad if you aren't looking for sweet. Virtually no queso at an up priced cost. I literally had to ask my wife if they even put any on. No queso to be found anywhere????? Maybe they did like a pencil lead line of it or something. Plus the chips cost extra and are the thinnest tortilla chips ive literally ever had. Its like eating small fragmented glass shards instead of a regular tortilla chip. Overall 1/5. If you want real Mexican food taste try "moes" in bowling green and let the taste be the determiner of this one. The chips are also free at moes. Sad to say salsaritas is a very noticeably cheap knockoff of moes with a slogan that lies to you right off bat. 12$ for a school lunch burrito. Wish it...
Read moreI love the food at Salsarita’s, and up until tonight and the week before last when my husband and I got food there I had ALWAYS had a good experience there. Tonight I ordered guacamole (costs extra) and queso (also costs extra) and there wasn’t any on what I ordered and instead of queso there was shredded cheese. My husband didn’t get home from work until 8:30 pm and picked the food up on his way home and I didn’t want to wait even longer to eat tonight so I’m not going back to have them make it right. The time before this that my husband and I went there (same Owensboro location and within the last two weeks) they left the guacamole off of my husbands order and he went right back out the door to go have them make it right. He was prepared to do that again tonight and I told him not to. I’m very disappointed in the accuracy of...
Read moreI typically really like their food. But they can’t seem to be able to make the burritos correctly and that is the only thing that I eat there. They split my burrito instead of re-rolling it they just wrapped it in another tortilla. There was 2 inches of tortilla on either end of the burrito. The foil wouldn’t wrap completely around it. The girl that did this to me was training somebody new.
UPDATE: 8/11 my last 2 burritos were perfect. Well constructed. Hopefully this will be consistent.
UPDATE: 1/10 they tried to double wrap my burrito again but I caught them in which they corrected. But whenever I started eating my burrito I nearly broke a tooth on uncooked rice. And every bite consisted of more uncooked rice. You could say that the rice was dried out, but no, it was way too...
